Cosy place, great mussels! Very recommended for anyone who needs a pint of beer and tasty food around Södermalm.

This popular restaurant on Södermalm is really worth a visit. Be in good time because it gets full very early. The menu here is not very long but very tempting. I had beef chin, my friends chose whole seabass and seafood casserole. All tasty. The service was friendly and prompt even though recommending a good dish didn't go so well.... More

Such a great homey feeling when you are there. I really love this place. It's the mixture of people that is so amazing and everyone is welcome: young to old, artists to office folks, families to group of friends, regulars to first timers. I engaged also so many times with people sitting next to us what is unusual for Stockholm.... More

Stumbled into this place the other day after living here for over 10 years. Tried the food and had a few Budles on tap. It's a nice cozy place with killer food. The personal was really nice and I'll be back soon that's for sure.

The place is very cozy and with friendly staff. However, there is nothing really special about it. Just nice and cozy. But the halumi burger we ordered was to die for! Since it's one of my favorite dishes, I often order it, but this one was simply the best!!

The Harvest Home was great. I went there for dinner (on a Friday night) on a holiday with a friend and we both really loved our food and wine. The prices were reasonable and the service was efficient and friendly. The decor was interesting and the place had a great atmosphere.

What I liked most is the environment and decoration. It is simple and creates an authentic feeling of a granary without being kitsch at all. The selection of beers goes beyond the usual stuff and the food is pretty good. I would suggest the ox cheeks I had. One thing though....you will need a reservation unless you can wait for... More

The place with the nicest people and best atmosphere. Very good dining and drinking. Try the special burger or the always nice plat du jour.

A very nice local restaurant for a beer and food with friends. Can be a little bit to crowded so its hard just to get to the toilet. Surprisingly good food!

I really liked this place. Nice and ffriendly place which seemd to have many locals, easy to come in contact with people. They did also have a good selection of different beers on tap. Centrally located in Søder.

Staying in SoFo & Medborgarplatsen

Neighbourhood Profile
SoFo & Medborgarplatsen
Throughout the last decades these neighborhoods transformed from a rather quiet residential area into the birthplace of Swedish hipsterism and became Sweden’s main hub for new fashion labels, independent coffee shops and innovative gastropub concepts. Despite their extreme transformation, SoFo (South of Folkungagatan) & Medborgarplatsen managed to hold on to their residential charm and quietness and became one of the most sought-after places to live among young people in Stockholm. This neighborhood is also home to Sweden’s highest student hall, Skrapan, which used to be the head office of the tax authorities and now combines a mix of student hall and shopping mall with a bar on top.
