We had dinner there several days ago. We had the 5 course tasting menu which although quite interesting and inventive was over priced. This is a vegetarian restaurant with a relaxed vibe and a very interesting and well thought out menu. The tastes were mostly...More

Went there to celebrate a friend. You share the dishes and pick 5-6 dishes for 2 persons. Fantastic food and great service. Will definitely go there again even though Im normally a "meat" person

As an omnivore travelling with a vegetarian, I find I often have to compromise at mealtimes, eschewing, for example, seafood restaurants and burger joints. Rutabaga, however, was anything but a compromise. There I had simply one of the finest meals I've enjoyed anywhere in Scandinavia....More

Matsalen is a modern gastronomic restaurant. Our cuisine is based on using the best fresh produce available here and now in Sweden and other parts of the world, spiced with curiosity and inspiration from everything we encounter. "The natural cuisine" is a menu that changes with nature and the seasons. We pair wine, beer and other beverages with each of the dishes we create. All the producers we work with are meticulously selected, they produce something we like. Our menu and drink offering - like the fresh produce - are living and change with the time of the year.
