Went into Lilla Garden as we were staying close by, nice and quiet restaurant. The food was amazing! Best Indian meal we have had. The guy serving us was friendly and the service was really quick. Would definitely recommend! 5 stars from us!

We only ate here because we were staying at a hotel close by. Really pleased we did. The restaurant was fairly quiet but the service was friendly and the food was very tasty. I would definitely go again if staying in the area.

Went there for lunch and got the vindaloo. Was not disappointed, the sauce was thick and tasty, and the spices did not kill the flavours. Proper spicy too, not Sweden spicy.

The food was good, the price was reasonable, the waiters were friendly. The restaurant was OK. The restaurant it self has a fast-food-feel to it. It is a real restaurant but the interior is a bit cheap.

Went there alone on a Sunday evening as this was the closest restaurant from my hotel, on a very rainy day. There were only two guest in the restaurant when I arrived, 2 more came later. I was not particularly happy or disapointed, meal was served within 10 minutes, with very generous portion (I could not finish), it is was... More

We ended up here by accident, but it was a good choice. The place is big enough to find seats even on a friday evening :) Good variety of Indian food. What we tried was tasty. Friendly staff. Main courses cost around 140 kr which is not expensive in Stockholm.

I came to Stockholm and went to this Indian restaurant based on reviews. I would say its the worst Indian food I have ever tried and I have been to many places and countries. I had ordered Tomato Soup and that was like tomato gravy, Then Dal Makhni was worse and made me realise the terror I would be going... More

I stayed in a hotel nearby and found this restaurant while waiting on the bus. The interior is not extraordinary, but this did not affect the atmosphere. The number of dishes is impressive and to keep it simple, I ordered the special dish. It came with a salad, a samosa, different kind of meat, rice, a bit of vegetables and... More

Having read the reviews on Trip Advisor, I expected a tasty curry but was sadly disappointed. Portions were good but the accompanying sauces left much to be desired. They were bland and were possibly out of a jar rather than home made. Price wise, reasonable for Stockholm.

Situated in a calm and quiet place. Good variety to choose from. We Had biryani, dal makhani and mixed vegetable and really enjoyed. The vegetable was really good but dal needed some improvement. Best thing is it is quite economical and reasonably priced. Overall a very good experience and we would like to go again.

Staying in Vasastan

Neighbourhood Profile
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
