If you are visiting stockholm, I do recomend to have a viking experience visiting this restaurant. It is a different concept but I am sure you will like it. I personally liked the food but it is a bit expensive and noisy for locals, the...More

The food was nice but the most delightful concept is the Viking one. You are announced by a "sort of guidewatch". This is a hell of a unique location and concept. Keep investing in the authenticity of it.

Really liked the atmosphere of the place! All decoration looks like antique viking ornaments. We tried out the traditional viking drink: mead. Never had this before, it was sweet and very powerful!!

Fantasic tradional meal. Food was great, staff very freindly, traditional live music being played. The viking thing could be seen to be a little "cheesy" but we had a great time. I would return if back to Stockholm

Good beer, excellent live traditional music and pleasant staff. Offers mead and other unique drinks in unusual receptacles. Probably authentic, but difficult to judge since I am not from the 11th century.

We were so lucky that we were able to eat at this popular restaurant, located in the heart of the medieval part of Gamla Stan in Stockholm. We didn't have a reservation and were told to come back the next day, but we wouldn't be...More

This is a good way to enjoy the medival part of Stockholm and to taste som Viking food. You would be surpriced of the international presence, but the Vikings did sail far away.

The food was great though, but the spetacle around it all was disturbing. Announcing each and every guest from this country or that loudly became an extremely disturbing element of an otherwise nise dinner. The music was awful to my ears at least and I...More

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home
to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central
island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small
island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous
Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit
touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting:
take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and
through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)

I don't really know, but you can check in their website. They accept reservations and it's good to make one 'cause the restaurant is usually full.

I didn't see a children's menu, and to be honest with the atmosphere of the bar I am not sure it would be suitable for children, it can get a little rowdy.
