On our recent and first visit to Stockholm, we tried this restaurant with hesitation because the location, on a lovely square in Gamla Stan, is very touristy. We were pleasantly surprised. Although the restaurant was very busy, we were seated on the outside deck as...More

Nice restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. We ate outside on a small patio across a small square from the Nobel Museum. The Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes and gravy was very good. The local draft beer was a good accompaniment to our meal. The...More

The restaurant is located right in front of the Nobel Museum. Often there are musicians in the square in front, which adds charm to the place. The food is fine, price is fair. Try to get an outside table.

I ate dinner at this restaurant on my short Stockholm trip. Initially service was slow (I was ignored by several waitresses before finally being seated), but when I finally got seated, it improved. I had the spare ribs special which included a stack of spare...More

We were very pleased with this restaurant! It's located in a beautiful square in the old city, surrounded by charming buildings. We had the pleasure to listen to live music while eating performed by a random dude in the square. The food was good and...More

Overlooking the square with Svenska Akademien in Gamla Stan (Old Town), this restaurant has outdoor and indoor seating. Even though it's located in a super touristy convenient area in the square, the restaurant proves itself with delicious food. There's traditional Swedish cuisine like meatballs and...More

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home
to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central
island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small
island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous
Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit
touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting:
take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and
through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)
