This cafe is in the main square in Gamla Stan and a great place to sit outside and people watch. I ordered the seafood sandwich was was huge, enough for two! Decent value for the location.

Bittersweet experience. We visited this café in 7 people. We seated outside since one of us had a dog with him. When one of the ladies of the staff came to take our order we asked the ingredients of the vegetarian lasagne and if there...was pepper in it because one of us is allergic. She didn’t know and came back inside to ask. This is already wrong since the staff should know the ingredients in case someone is allergic to something. In the meantime, while she was inside, a colleague came to our table asking if we had ordered already. We said that we were waiting because the other waitress was inside asking for the ingredients of the vegetarian lasagna. Her answer was: “there are vegetables in it”. An answer like this is not professional nor funny. It really sounded like she was making fun if us. Then, once we specified we were interested in peppers she ensured there were none inside the lasagna. After this the first waitress came back and we ordered. One if us ordered a Princess cake but they told us it was not available. Nothing wring with it, it can happen. Once our order arrived we found out there were PEPPERS in the vegetarian lasagna!!! We asked for a change with a regular lasagna but they said there were peppers also in that one (WHO THE HELL PUTS PEPPERS IN A LASAGNA!!!). With a lot of disappointment and since we wanted to eat something, we tried again to order the Princess cake asking to the waitress that told us wrong about the peppers. She was rude and not paying attention to what I was asking, talking with other clients while I was in front of her. In the end they asked for a slice of Princess cake to the café next door and gave it to us. In the end the food tasted ok but the service is really bad and not respectful! Prices are not in a good value-for-money range. I will never come back! And if you want a Princess cake you’d better go somewhere else.More
Yummy potato’s with chicken and pineapple. We came really late and they still served us. The waitress were kind and the atmosphere outside at the square was great.
Lovely little place in the historic centre, right next to the Nobel Museum. The gastronomic offer is good, appropriate to the type of place, covering from breakfast (the cinnamon roll is excellent) to brunch and dinner. The prices are all in all acceptable, in the...average of Stockholm. The only flaw we found in the 3 times we went is the service, a bit slow and distracted.More
Overall it’s a good experience. The Coffee/ drinks are a little bit pricy but really good. We ate a swedisch cinnamon roll that was delicious and compared with the coffee not expensive. We had a table inside but we would definitely recommend to sit outside.
Great food, coffee, service and location. Mind you sandwiches are huge but really good!!! Waitress really attentive. View is superb.
I have been here twice recently: firstly to take one quick beer, secondly to take some coffee. Even though I did not eat, the stay was very pleasant, the atmosphere was calm, genuine and space had "a soul". The candles on the table made the...perfect touch to relax a bit and let me enjoy coffee during one dark winter afternoon.More
Cosy gorgeous little cafe for the BEST fika! On the main square, it was slightly hidden by some scaffolding. It was the perfect little stop to warm up from the cold and have some yummy fika. I had a chai latte and my husband had...a hot chocolate. The cinnamon buns were delicious- definitely the best we had on our trip. Would highly recommendMore
This café is most likely one of the best little places, I have been to. It's cosy, warm and the old furniture create a great atmosphere along with nice decorations on the walls. The place is small but has room downstairs too. They serve simple...lunch and I recommend "soup of the day" which is great and perfect for a low budget. If not lunch then try to fika: Swedish for a five o'clock tea and cake. I'll be back next time in Stockholm.More
one of the coziest places for fika in one of the most famous and picturesque locations in Stockholm-don't miss it! Amazing sweets and food as long as hospitality. Highly recommended.
For a place smack in the middle of tourist-land (Gamla Stans Stortorget), this restaurant is surprisingly hospitable. Good food and nice atmosphere with welcoming staff, even for group meetings. Certain days and seasons, you may want to reserve a table.
Beautiful little cafe. Service was great and the decor was lovely. The white hot chocolate and cinnamon buns were amazing. Highly recommend.
Lovely food and coffee, cistern atmosphere takes you to the old city. Apple cake is my favourite. Thank you to the ladies
Located at a lovely square near the Royal Palace, its nice if you get to sit outside as I found the interiors a bit drab and claustrophobic, atleast for lunch. The food is very average and pricey (being located where they are i guess they...think its a privilege). We landed here after touring the Royal Palace to have a small lunch. They overcharged us, we had not paid attention to the bill after a tiring tour of the day......but while I was finishing my coffee, the girl who had served us at the table, returned with the excess amount in cash (we had paid by card), which was nice. So do appreciate their honesty...More
A very small cafe nice placed in the old town. A little expensive for two cups of tea. Toilet facilities needed an upgrade and a cleaning. Busy waiters don’t even have time to apply the bill
