Kaffekoppen is my go-to place to start the day in Stockholm, when the weather is nice, mostly because I enjoy having my breakfast on their terrace at Stortorget. Food is good and service is friendly and attentive. Great way to begin the day.

We came here twice for a breakfast treat of tea and cinnamon roll. Was convenient to begin touring once done. The building is unique and cozy. Good service provided.

Noticed a nice looking lasagna and we stopped there. Although the cafe is by the main square, it wasn’t an expensive one. We tried a classic lasagna and a vegetarian and the latter was tasty, well balanced and creamy. Menu is not too extensive. We...More

Kaffekoppen is a popular place for coffee and desserts due to its location in Stortorget, not necessarily its quality. If you want cake, the carrot cake was delicious, and the apple cake was also very good, but don't waste your money on the chocolate cake....More

We had to sit and have some hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls here once I saw them. They give you a blanket to cover up if it is chilly and you can sit and drink your white hot chocolate, or your other favorite hot beverage...More

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home
to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central
island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small
island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous
Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit
touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting:
take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and
through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)
