Arrived late evening and fancied pizza - there doesn't seem to be too many Italian restaurants in Stockholm so after another restaurant was full I chose here. Probably would've walked straight out after speaking to the waiter who 'greeted' me and then escorted me to the table. Requests seemed to be a burden, tutting and passing the drinks menu across... Italian food outside Italy is a tricky affair. Whilst the cooking techniques are basic when compared to French, it is difficult to get it right. I have had great meals in the US, Australia, Thailand and Switzerland but the rest have been a mixed affair. In my native country Sweden, I have never really had memorable Italian, until I visited... Not a bad place for lunch but far from impressive menu. The staff are trying their best during the rush hour and the food gets served fairly timely. A bit noisy.

Visited on a Friday evening and cannot believe this place has mixed reviews. Food was great & service good. In terms of Stockholm pricing - very reasonable. Well worth a visit.

Looking for a restaurant near the Elite Place Hotel I found Ciao Ciao IV. Very Italian menu and excellent. Service good. My only complaint was that the plates were too generous. Started with an antipasto which would have sufficed as a meal. It was a chevre cheese toasted with honey on a bed of salad. Really good. Had a pasta... More

Popular place for sunny late-summer evening pizza. Good range of pizzas and other Italian foods, menu available in English. This was close to our hotel and although effectively on a roundabout well situated serving good food and wine and large measures of spirits with friendly Italian staff.

Went to Ciao Ciao IV quite late in the evening to have a pasta. The service was extremely bad, the man serving us was very rude. Food was mediocre.

A very nice restaurant that can easily be reached. The food was very good and the waiters were quite nice. The food is reasonably priced, so you get good value for money.

We were here on a week night hoping for some evening sun and a good meal. At first the menu looked good and we decided to have the crab antipasti, it turned out that the crab was really seafood sticks, not real crab. Not good. We decided on halving the tuna and a daniela pizza for the maincourse. The tuna... More

Been having lunch here for many years on and off. Lately less frequently since the food is no longer tasty. To be frank I think they need a new chef. Not recommended.

Neighbourhood Profile
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
