The restaurant is now called B1:An. Not sure why it re-launched itself. The service was friendly and the prices ok. You need to book as it is very small.

New owners and amazing chef! I can say that we are going there again and it might even be the new place to be! Owners must learn more about the restaurant business though even if they are kind and nice!

During my latest trip to Stockholm, my girlfriend introduced me to this restaurant. It is one of her favorite places in the city for tapas. This place is actually an expansion of sorts: the main restaurant, "La Cucaracha," is located "across the street", which is a rough translation of the name of Tvärsöver. The ambiance is quite nice; it's cozy... More

Staying in SoFo & Medborgarplatsen

Neighbourhood Profile
SoFo & Medborgarplatsen
Throughout the last decades these neighborhoods transformed from a rather quiet residential area into the birthplace of Swedish hipsterism and became Sweden’s main hub for new fashion labels, independent coffee shops and innovative gastropub concepts. Despite their extreme transformation, SoFo (South of Folkungagatan) & Medborgarplatsen managed to hold on to their residential charm and quietness and became one of the most sought-after places to live among young people in Stockholm. This neighborhood is also home to Sweden’s highest student hall, Skrapan, which used to be the head office of the tax authorities and now combines a mix of student hall and shopping mall with a bar on top.
