The food here was very good and quite flavorful. We absolutely loved the vegetarian lasagna and found that the choices and flavors for vegetarians were extraordinary. Deserts were great too and they took care of my daughters allergies as well. A good experience overall and...More

We got the lasagne--which was fantastic--and the spicy sausage pizza which was great. A really nice Italian restaurant owned and operated by actual Italians...and wouldn't you know, they know how to do Italian. The Lasagne is a can't miss, but everything I saw coming out...More

My husband and I popped into Rodolfino for an early dinner after a long day of walking around Stockholm. Their pizza's were delicious, and my husband's salad was fresh and tasty. The wine was excellent. Just remember this is European pizza - it doesn't come...More

This Italian place I would recommend to anyone looking for a good place to eat in Stockholm's Gamla Stan. Both my pasta and my husband's pizza were quite tasty. Wine prices are as high as anywhere in Stockholm, but that shouldn't keep you from ordering...More

I was surprised to see some of the lackluster reviews. We stumbled on this place during a rainstorm & loved the food. My son ate the carbonara & loved it. I had the linguini with panna and it was delicious. My husband had the margherita...More

My wife and I went here because the view and atmosphere was great. The sun in the afternoon is very appealing and the view of two cathedrals can't be beaten. Nice friendly service - a bit of a tourist spot but worth it.

We found this Italian eatery earlier in the day. The menu looked inviting so we noted it's location. After a day exploring central Stockholm on foot we opted for an early dinner & wanted to eat outside so retraced to Stora Nygatan. We chose a...More

This was another restaurant we just happened upon. I can't say it was super impressive, but it was okay. Fair service....but, they were quite busy. The pizza was okay. I was a bit disappointed that the waitresses kept bumping into my chair when they walked...More

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home
to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central
island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small
island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous
Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit
touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting:
take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and
through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)

Description
The square in Gamla Stan, Stockholm's old town, where Rodolfino is situated, has seen a number of changes down the years. Once upon a time, this was one of Stockholm's major meeting places. This is where Carl Christoffer Gjörwell (1731-1781) had his bookshop and it was full of coffee houses and restaurants. There was a boisterous street life and the square was the scene of many historic events. These days, life on the square is considerably quieter, which suits Rodolfino perfectly, since the restaurant aims to offer guests a relaxing experience. The kitchen prepares Italian food, with a range of pasta, meat and fish dishes, as well as a number of examples of Sweden's home cooking tradition.
