I got cheese on my toast even though the menu didn't say so and K'm really lactose intollerant. I told the staff I couldn't eat it and they were unwilling to take it back. Also their so called feta cheese is made of cow milk...

Me and my husband went there for breakfast. We ordered the deluxe breakfast I think. Sandwich was tiny but delicious, so was the smoothie.

Nice people, cozy cafe. One can sit out when the weather permits. Near Vasa park and so one could combine with spending some time in the park.

Nice suprise when we found this cafe, good service, vegetarian food is ok, quite cheap for stockholm and coffee, bread, for free when you order some food.

We strolled into this quirky cafe during our exploration of the city and were pleasantly surprised. There wasn't an English version of the menu but the man who assisted us was very cheery and helpful in giving us a translation of the items and what the favorites were. We felt welcome and sat down to enjoy our quickly prepared lunch.... More

I normally visit Vurma Hornstull. I love everything in this place: food, staff, variety of desserts, atmosphere. Even the toilet is an experience per se. I have now tried few different dishes and cakes and all taste soooooo good! Perfect place to hang out with friends anytime of the week.

Vurma is one of the best cafes in Stockholm, it has it all. Great view, great coffe, great food and a fantastic enviroment. The best time to come here us 9-11 am and 2-7 pm. During lunchtime its too crowded. The soyalatte is perfect and also the kaemummabulle, or cardamonroll.Sit outside its the best view.

Café Vurma has 4 locations in Stockholm, my favorite being the one in Hornstull (Bergsunds Strand 31). The place is quirky and charming and offers yummy sandwiches, brunch and daily specials. It is the perfect place to lounge around on a Sunday (although, it does get quite busy) -or to sit and read/study on weekdays.

This is a great café with good coffee and great food. The decor is a bit bohemish, and the service could be better from some staff. It is obviously a concept that works since they have a number of other cafés in Stockholm. Food: The food is great, with a large variety of sandwiches (cold and grilled) and salads. Coffee:... More

Staying in Vasastan

Neighbourhood Profile
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
