The staff is just amazing, they were so kind and helpful, they even came and asked a couple of times if everything was okay, and it really wasn't a rhetorical question, they were genuinely interested. The halloumi burger was simply delicious! Visit them, we had a delightful time there!

Snowy night, we were staying at the Rival about 100 feet away. Nice crowd but the staff were the standout. Nice bartender quick and helpful. The kitchen outdid itself with great dishes. Very satisfied.

Found this place walking through Sodermalm area of Stockholm. Very typical pub on a corner site. Nice and cozy inside. It was quiet and nothing much happening. The lunch menu was two things. We declined, had a gin and left. Nice pub but service and choice of food was lacking.

Stopped in here a few times for an alcoholic beverage. Some quality beer on tap and small enough intimate vibe to talk about our business of music.

Our first visit to the place was rather random. We looked for a place to have lunch. And decided to go to the first place we meet. So that was Black & Brown Inn. In the evening this is a pub with great choice of beers and it is always full of people. But we were there at the lunch... More

I stopped in here because the pub I was going to was closed and I had to back track to my hotel. It was my birthday (I ran away to Finland and Sweden) and I was solo. Weather was gloomy all day, chilly and raining pretty hard. But I was determined to celebrate myself anyway. Didn't know what to expect... More

Nice little pub, excellent food. The environment is fun and the decoration on the inside does remind you of an english pub.

Got caught in rain, so dodged in here. Locals place with a very limited menu. Service was non-existent. We had to ask for menus, ask to place our order, ask for the check. The folks are nice - just not real attentive. Food was OK and draft beer option good. Only negative (and not just here but all over Stockholm)... More

Nice atmosphere and friendly people. Good food and drinks (beer and whiskey in my case). Hang out and get acquainted with locals and other visitors.

Staying in Mariatorget

Neighbourhood Profile
This rather quiet neighborhood revolves around a postcard-like park with a dramatic fountain in its center and is definitely one of Stockholm’s showcase neighborhoods. Mariatorget, a central residential area, is the best Stockholm has to offer when it comes to juxtaposing architectural masterpieces with sophisticated art galleries, coffee shops and bars. Stockholmers love to spend their weekends in the park or one of the nearby coffee shops, so come to Mariatorget to meet the locals. The northern part of Mariatorget boasts historic buildings, beautiful cobblestone streets, and one of Stockholm’s best observation decks, Monteliusvägen, from where you can see an amazing view of the city hall and Stockholm’s old town.
