Visited for breakfast having been into the shop previously for coffee. The breakfast is good and worth a visit but cost a little on the high side; I guess that’s to be expected though.

We visited here as a Friday lunch treat. We knew we’d likely have to wait for a table given it’s Christmas, but we only waited 15 minutes and were given a pager so we could browse the shop in the meantime. I chose soup and...More

Some good friends introduced us to this place that they had discovered. It is a very busy place and we were advised to book well ahead. It’s not hard to see why. After wandering through their fascinating shop, we came to the large and well...More

If you sit at the tables outside dogs are welcome. I don't think you can take your dog inside the cafe and shop.

Fancy a 'proper' cup of tea and a big slice of our famous courgette cake whilst you relax in the big comfy sofas by the log burning stove? Or, a jug of Pimms to share with friends under a parasol in the new outdoor area? Are you feeling peckish? How about a full English before 12 noon, or homemade soup and a sandwich from our kitchen between 12-3? Have we twisted your arm? Ooh good, come on in to our new 85 seater café area... Café Reservations: When planning a visit to our Café at lunchtime (or for a special event such as Mother's Day/Father's Day) we strongly recommend that you call ahead or pop in and make a reservation. We are usually busy over lunchtimes and we don't want to disappoint.
