We had an meal here on a Sunday evening after spending the day at Slieve League. It was very tasty and we would recommend. The restaurant is comfortable and was very busy when we arrived. Carrick is a small town and has a nice riverside walk.

We stopped here to eat after visiting the cliffs. We made it just in time as they stopped serving food at 8:00. A few people were turned away ( the bar remained open). Food was good and it was good value. Service was good also.

After a walk to Slieve League the whole family was desperate for lunch. We called here and it was a good decision. It's good hearty pub food. Nothing fancy, but throughly enjoyable. I would recommend.

Very accommodating, we arrived just before the kitchen closed after traveling all day. They made room for all six of us and we had an excellent meal. It was so good we returned again the next evening.

My husband and I were going to the Slieve League, were very hungry, so we stopped. I went for the Seafood chowder, he had a hamburger. The staff was very nice, I enjoyed watching young families with small children come in. A little boy wanted "Chips with Red sauce!" (French fries and ketchup) Sweet. We were served promptly and it... The best thing there is to say about this place was that they found room for the 6 of us at a busy lunch. The pasta we got was tasteless. The mussels were far from fresh and half of them unopened.

I was a bit dubious about this place at first as I don't care for the decor, but I had noticed the Tripadvisor certificate of excellence so I gave it a shot. I ordered the deep fried brie, which came in a generous portion and on a beautiful, super fresh, and finely dressed salad. My mother and her best friend... More

Great meal in pub setting. The food was wonderful. Everything is made from scratch, and you can taste it. We had the best fish and chips of our lives there.

We really enjoyed dinner after a day of biking to and around Carrick, Ireland. My husband had chorizo pasta, a special on the menu, and I had seafood chowder. Both were delicious, as were the crispy onion rings. Our dessert, sticky toffee pudding, topped the meal off nicely. The service was pleasant and prompt. We're here for one more night... More
