Had a few of the Danish open sandwiches at various locations. This was probably the best. Although more expensive you get what you pay for. Recommend sharing 1 hot and two cold. Surprisingly filling.

Hailed as one of the best places to go for the smørrebrød experience when in Copenhagen, and with reason. The sandwiches were works of art in themselves, and were absolutely delicious! The beef tartare and the roast pork were very tasty. Not the cheapest for smørrebrød, but definitely a worthwhile experience. Booking essential - a lot of people were turned... More

Called here on a Copenhagen food tour and were treated to a massive smorgasbord with full explanation of its heritage. However not only was the food plentiful but also a myriad of flavours and interest. Somewhat of a trendy establishment and highly regarded locally, this is a must do visit, but do go hungry and probably book if you can.

Wanted to visit this restaurant on a previous visit to the city but it was closed for a private function. Got a reservation for our first day and it delivered! The interiors and staff spread hygge and the sandwiches are a delight. We had the fried herring, pork belly, salmon the tartare. The tartare alone is worth the visit. We... More

It was our first trip to Denmark and while here, we had to try the local foods. The restaurant was recommended by a friend, so we made a booking ahead to reserve a table and recommended you do too. The restaurant is cozy and the staff are warm and friendly. We each chose two plates which were served in courses... More

We luckily only had to wait 10 minutes for a table here for lunch, I think because we got there earlyish - about noon. The food is clearly of a high calibre, and was delicious, although expensive even for Copenhagen. I would give it a higher mark, here is why I can't. When I ordered I was very specific that... More

Aamanns was a great place to get a delicious smorebrod after a visit to the Kunst museum. The selection of house-made schnapps was also sizable and very interesting.

We visited Aamans Deli for lunch on Saturday. I was glad we booked as they were having to turn people away. The food was delightful, recommend trying as many of the open sandwiches as you can. The Rye Bread snaps was very good as was the apple, horseradish and lemon one! Well worth a visit but book in advance to... More
