After Tea Room disappeared, and Magasasa went "modern"/deteriorated, we've been looking for an inexpensive place with good original Chinese fare. We found it in Fu Hao, which has a dim sum+ card and a more Danish-Chinese card, and the former is rewarding in terms of tastes and variety. Many good dishes, e.g. spring rolls w curried beef, shrimp balls w... More

When I go to a chinese restaurant I always try to order the Wonton soup. It's sort of my benchmark for the restaurant. Poor Wonton = bad food. Fu Hao has one of the best Wonton soups around, and many of the other Dim Sum dishes live up to this quality. I have eaten at the Fu Hao on several... More

I always come here to eat dimsum. The price has been taken up the last time I was there, but still very very cheap. If I do not rememebr wrong, it is still only about 45 kr for one starter. It used to be something like 35 kr for a starter. Amazing cheap. And the quality is good. I like... More

Went to Fu Hao for the Dim Sum - it was OK, but nowhere near what we have had in other cities (Singapore, New York). The pork and shrimp dim sum filling had an unpleasant stringy texture. We also had the fried noodles with tar siu, which was the best dish of them all. The menu seems to have authentic... More

This restaurant is within walking distance from the central station Copenhagen. We dined twice during our stay in Copenhagen, and we ordered fried rice and seafood noodle. The Chinese food was good and the price very reasonable. Recommended if your hotel is nearby.

We usually come to this restaurant for their dim sum. The interior of the restaurant has seen better days, and the food as well as the service has also been better. When you order dim sum, you are given a list, where you indicate the dish of your choice and the quantity. A folder, which shows the photos of the... More

We found the restaurant through tripadvisor. It was closed to the hotel and we were tired. The restaurant was almost empty. Not a good sign. We ordered Spring Rolls and a Wan Tan soup for starters and a chicken and beef as main course. After 15 minutes the waiter delivered the two main dishes. I asked if he forgot the... More

This joint is quite close to the central station and it serves a wide variety of dim-sum, as well as other bigger dishes. The quality of the food is excellent with all the typical dim-sum combinations available. In my opinion, ordering several dim-sum plates would be the best idea to try out a lot of different tastes. The prices are... More

The food is nice, but service is super slow. The price is fair, nice environment and good location. The chili sauce is tasty

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
