Place to go for coffee brunch or a beer. Food is snackish and is heavy and nothing special. Brunch is nice and can be enjoyed all days.

Unnoticeable from the outside, lively and friendly once you get in. Food is great, you will not regret it. Menu is short but balanced.

Unfortunately only an Average Brunch and a very "thin" Cafe Latte. We where sitting inside, it was a bit noisy/ bad acoustic- but they have also outdoor serving when the sun is out. We also had a cappuccino that was perfect, so select your coffee with care..

Café Under Elmene has a very good brunch and decent coffee. It's definitely a good place to meet, although the road nearby is quite noisy. Nice people, very friendly staff :-)

If you need a good burger, service and friendly environment the this is the place to be. Also try the tun sandwich with rye bread, super delicious or the chill con carne.

Really nice little cafe in Amager. Probably not worth going out of your way to eat here especially since there are lots of these kinds of cosy cafes in Copenhagen, but if you so happen to be in the neighbourhood it is a lovely place to stop to a meal or coffee.

This is a popular café ... They serve good coffee and the burgers are good. If you stay at Amagerbro you should try this café.

While walking around Copenhagen we stumbled upon this place. It offered outside seating with a view to the streets and a small park. In addition the location of this cafe is outside of the main touristy areas so you get to experience another face of the city. The food and coffee were just ok, but worth a stop if visiting... More

Staying in Amager

Neighbourhood Profile
Amager
In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.
