On our first evening in Copenhagen we were very jet-lagged and wanted to eat near our hotel. The receptionist recommended this one. We enjoyed it. The food and service were both good, and it was a nice atmosphere. Prices were average for Copenhagen.

We were looking for a "real" Danish meal and we were not disappointed one bit. Go hungry, enjoy the friendly staff and maybe you go on an evening when you really need a hearty meal to recover from the cold.

Wow - this place was a great find. I was searching reviews all day - looking for a nice, traditional place for dinner - and we were not disappointed. The danish ice-cream dessert was about the best treat I've ever enjoyed.

We ordered the menu (minimum 2 people) as Danish cuisine. One starter based on fish with herrings and fried fish, main plate with meat (pork liver and roasted pork) and brie cheese. Service was perfect with the friendly redhead waitress. I highly recommend it. Not...More

Good food and service. Reasonable prices. The starter was something local and different for us. It was also suggested to be shared what was nice. The place is quite small and popular so booking a table seems to be a must.

Decided on a whim to try this place on a Sunday night, and I'm so glad I did! It helped that I was there solo because all the booths were reserved. I'm a huge fan of old stuff, so the fact that the building was...More

I almost hate to write this review because this restaurant was one of those finds that I would like to keep for myself! This is a great little restaurant and bar that sits half below ground with patio seating for nice weather. We happened by...More

We selected an outside table next to the large ornamental water fountain. The food was surprisingly good. My wife ordered salmon and I had a steak with “mashed potatoes.” For dessert we shared rhubarb and strawberry jam with cream that our waiter told us was...More

Restaurant PUK is a classic and historic Danish restaurant in the very heart of Copenhagen. It is one of the oldest restaurants in Copenhagen with a history dating back to 1750. Here came the Danish King Christian VII along with his mistress in the late 19th century when they were in town together. You can enjoy all the traditional Danish courses crafted with a blend of respect for tradition and a pride in the art of cooking and the best products from Danish farmers.
