My wife and I had an evening meal here and were highly impressed. I selected a double herring starter which was delicious along with a craft beer and the traditional pork chop dinner with roasted potatos and vegetables which my wife also chose. The 2 waitresses were hospitable and really pleasant to chat to. There was also a warm and... More

It started when the famous smorrebrod restaurant across the street declined me without thinking twice as they were full. I looked around the street and found this nice cosy restaurant and enquired inside. They told me that they were full as well, but instead, they asked me to stay and wait for a few minutes so they can find a... More

A fine December afternoon. Stopped by for glühwein and ableskiver. Had to contact the waiter myself. Waited for the delivery and the glüwein was kind of sour. Recommend to go elsewhere for that type of serving

We were seeking somewhere to eat which would provide us with the Danish national dish, something suitable food for a vegetarian and also food suitable for a gluten-free diet. This place was friendly, quirky, cosy and exactly what we wanted. Not badly priced and the portions were huge!

Everything about this restaurant impressed us. The exterior, the interior, the staff and the food. We arrived at about 12-12.30 and surprisingly there were only 2 people eating there. By the time lunchtime rocked around, the place was packed. And rightly so. The girls working there were the most friendly we encountered during our time in Copenhagen and the food... More

We ordered our food seated under the outside canopy only to be sat next to a chain smoker! Despite the fact we were clearly eating, she continued to smoke and blew in our direction on numerous occasions. When the food came, we were most disappointed to find fillet steaks served swimming in olive oil. They did tell us they did... More

This lovely restaurant is bringing you to your grandmothers house, with old Danish music, old fashened glasses and lovely stuff! They have only Danish beer not only mainstream Carlsberg and Tuborg but as well from the small breweries! Ask the stuff they wilk find some really good beers for you! Food is tipical Danish with open-faced sandwiches!

We were tired from travel and it was our anniversary. We walked to Nyhavn from our hotel and found this restaurant. As we were tired, we weren't looking for a gourmet 5 star restaurant but wanted to try real Danish food. This restaurant was perfect. Small, very homey and cute and upstairs form the hustle and bustle of outside seating... More

If you're looking for authentic local food, look no further. A bit expensive, but then everything is, in Copenhagen. The service was fast and friendly, the view is goegeous in a sunny day, and the food was tasty.
