Bland, every day, unsurprising food. Are they trying to cook without herbs and spices? - radish snack, just radish, and even one of them unpleasantly sharp - spinach and oyster was by far the best dish, very well balanced - potato and parmigiano was ok because it's difficult to get potato and cheese wrong - the pork was bland and... The creativity and subtlety are exceptional and everything we'd hoped for. The wines in the pairings showed care and curiosity in the effort to provide not just delicious but unusual and interesting choices. Easily surpassed the NY San Pellegrino restaurants in creativity, flavor, and expertise. A comfortable setting and friendly service, as well.

We picked the Ralae menu with juice pairing and they catered to my vegetarian request. Each course was a surprise and the friendly sous chefs talked about all the dishes they served.

Let's start with the food. I had the Experience menu with juice pairing. Several of the courses were surprisingly bland, with only one true star dish, the cooked/dried potato in Parmigiano sauce. The juice pairing was a disaster. As an example, the blandest dish on the menu, lumpfish roe with mildly fermented celeriac and almond milk, which had practically no... More

I went to Relae with big expectation and my dinner went really over them. I've chosen vegeterian relae experience with the wine experience. All the dishes were presented in a really minimal way wich brought up the essenciality of the ingredients. They were explained to me from the staff in a way to enjoy the main ingredients, understand where they... More

If you're hungry then don't bother with Relae's tiny portions. Food tasted quite good however and was very unique. Very cramped tables as if they are trying to maximise covers at almost any cost. They catered for two of our party that were vegan but only on the smaller menu and which meant that the other three of the party... More

You should choose Relae (Relæ) not only for its innovative and flavourful food with a minimum of ingredients. You should choose Relae for its superb food and wine pairings. The wines themselves are as delicious as the food. Together the food and wine menus will give you unprecedented and unexpected flavour combinations. That’s the reason why Relae rightly is on... There is a reason why Relæ is on the list of the world's 50 best restaurants. Their food is innovative and flavorful with a minimum of ingredients. Flavor combinations are unexpectedly delicious. There are only two dining options: the 3-course menu and the full Relæ experience. Sit at the bar looking into the kitchen. It is dinner theatre at its... More

Nice relaxed atmosphere and great interesting food. We were seven of us and sat at the big table. The table probably had room for some more people, but we got it all for our self which I find very focused on our experience from the restaurant. The staff was cool and friendly without being too much. The food was great.... More

My experience at Relae was one of my favourite restaurant experiences ever! As the restaurant had a Michelin Star and is part of the World's 50 Best, I had high expectations and they were completely met. The atmosphere was relaxed and informal, and the service was knowledgeable and efficient. The stand out dish for me was potato with an aged... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Outer Noerrebro
One of Copenhagen's many bicycle “highways” plays an integral part to this neighbourhood as it snakes its way through the city. This bicycle path, which allows you to pass almost unhindered from one end of town to the other, is bordered by green oases, skater parks, benches, cafés and all kinds of other recreational facilities. One of the major squares surrounding the bicycle path is called the Red Square, which offers an abundance of physical and brain stimulating activities. In one corner of Red Square, Noerrebrohallen is located, a sport centre which offers several activities from squash to badminton to curling.
