It was absolutely wonderful. We ordered sandwiches and bagels and both were filled to the top with delicious freshly made toppings. The owner is the most food-loving person I met in a long time. He cared for small details, put some fresh lemon juice on the salmon and let us taste some different salads. It was quite busy in the... More

We stayed a couple of days right above the bagelman. First impression was really great. You can see the delicious fresh salads in the window. Can choose different breads and a lot of different nice toppings of bagels and baguettes. The selfmade sweets was great. We eat there 3 times during our stay and it was always excellent. 100% recommend.

We loved how the german lady from the bagelman took her time to explain what everything is and how to get the best bagel. The only weird stuff is that they dont accept cards which is not ideal. It didnt bother us because we only had cash on us anyway, but she has to explain this to two people whilst... More

As a Jersey girl, I was so excited for a bagel shop in my neighborhood, but this is not your typical NYC/ Jersey bagel shop. Across two visits I found the food decent and low prices, but had a bad service experience. Unlike a typical NYC/ Jersey bagel shop, they don't have a huge selection of bagels (~4 different types)... I had a breakfast here with my mother. My mother had a sandwich which was fair, but my chocolate cookie was old as .. my mother. My can of coke had dead fly on it, and place was quite dirty.

In short, a place where you can choose the contents of your bagel like at a 'subway' restaurant. Great choice of toppings and fillings from fresh ingredients. Service and venue are below average. Pricing is 40kr for a bagel and 55 for a bagel and drink. The first time I went was a few days ago (mid May 2012), a... More

Wow. Bagels with whichever meat you fancy, different flavoured cream cheese and loads of fresh salad - you can't go wrong. And all this for 40k (about 5-6€)! In Copenhagen, this is a bargain! It is very close to nyhvn and the shopping district. Plus the bagelman is super friendly. Smiles all round!

The first time I went to bagelman in Copenhagen, I did not know what to expect... but ohhhh do I love those bagels. Especially the ones with salmon are fantastic. They are located in a nice, hip area of Copenhagen - whenever I came back to Copenhagen, it is one of my first things on the list: get a bagel... More

Just off Kongens Nytorv. Great place for a quick breakfast: bagel with cream cheese and cup of coffee for DKK 25. A bargain in Copenhagen.
