I actually stumbled upon this cafe, after a long day of exploring the city about 5 years ago. I will NEVER forgot this meal. It is still, to this day, one of the best meals I have ever had. The ambience in the courtyard almost feels magical. And the food is fresh, simple and delicious. This is the way you... More

Tried the open sandwiches. The roasted pork and curry herring. The curry herring is unique. Roasted pork is good. Good if you would like to explore some local food. And good value for money

This is a very nice place in Copenhagen center close to Kgs Nytorv and Nyhavn. They have a great menu with excellent dishes and a good selection of wine. We chose the wine menu with a 3 course menu. Excellent. Can really recommend this place.

This is a hidden gem we came across it while looking for lunch on our first day here we returned a second day. The smorgasbord (open sandwiches) were really good. I had the marinated white herring with capes. It was delicious the fish was sweet. I followed this with a lamb one which was good but for me the fish... More

We stumbled upon this place around 6:30 pm on our first day in Copenhagen after the usual overnight flight, wanting only smorrebord even though it was dinner time. We were warmly received and treated exceptionally well. The things we ordered were beautifully presented and delicious. The suggested beers were perfect. The service was outstanding: helpful and friendly; prompt but not... More

Comfy within, leafy in the backyard. Awesome food (smorrebrod), flawless service. Expensive, but hey, Copenhagen. (I dug out the onions in the picture.)

Great place fro lunch. We sat outside in the courtyard and were welcomed by the staff who were very charming. Great atmosphere in this relaxed restaurant. We chose the Smorgasborg, traditional Danish open sandwich, from the excellent choice on offer. Herring, meatball and chicken were all fantastic, both with the presentation and flavour. My wife chose the salad which I... More

Recommended to me that I MUST have the Danish signature sandwich and it was simply delicious and I wasn't a fan of herring. We were there at an off time so did not have to wait for anything, but service friendly and good and food wonderful.

Stumbled upon this place on our first day in Copenhagen. Accommodating and friendly staff. Enjoyed the brunch ( served until 1pm and we arrived just before 1) and pulled chicken sandwich.
