I like the (almost Italien) concept of just one menu – the chef has chosen for you. This can be excellent and good value, but at first I was disappointed with the menu at Møber. The starter was salmon and the main dish beef. We...have had both several times lately. But we had no where else to go for a quality dinner, and it proved, that Møber was excellent. Entering the building didn’t do anything good either for my expectation – a quite dull building upon the harbor office. But getting to the dining area on first floor gave a nice view over the marina, and the staff made us instantly feel welcome. The good service continued all evening. Really nice with lot of staff around you and getting the food in a timely matter. Both had been a big problem in the harbors we had visited on our sailing summer holiday. The choice was quite simple: 3 courses (339 kr.) or main dish and dessert. Well – when asking, we could also have the starter and the main dish. (and a soup and some cheese as ad ons). We went for the 3 courses. Not much to save skipping the dessert. The salted salmon was very tasty and it was a decent big piece – served with good smoked cheese and crispy rye bread. The meat was Danish fillet of calf with a mix of perfectly prepared vegetables and potatoes. No new sensation in taste combination – but nice. Meat was good cooked – about medium. There was no choice of how you preferred the meat. Dessert was a bit more adventurous: strawberry-rhubarb soup with sorbet. Also delicious. Good, but small selection of wines – mostly Italian (nice!). We got away with two decent bottles at around 600 kr. That’s fair. Also the price for craft beer at 45/55 kr. But it is not fair to charge for tap water while you are also buying several bottles of wine. They had a disclaimer like: ‘We charge for water because there is no hidden extras in the price of the food’. But why just the water? They served excellent bread without charge. And the price of the napkin and the plate – must have been hidden in the price of the food. Butt still, a very sympathetic, professional and friendly place. Be aware, the website is in Danish only.More

What a fantastic restaurant!! If you are interested in fine dining at great prices then this is a great place to be. We dined here and had a great 3 course meal with coffee and petit fours afters. You could easily see that the head...chef was from Nimb in CPH and both my salmon starter and my veal main course was exquisite followed up with a pear dessert with crispy caramel and vanilla ice cream, hmm.. Service was excellent. We walked back to lunds hotel afterwards after a fantastic evening.More

Excellent food and service. Situated on the harbourfront, you have excellent views over the harbour and the sea. The menulist only have few dishes, but they are all made to perfection and with a touch of innovative taste. The Wine list is very fine and...the service is very personal and second to none. All in all: excellent value and highly redommendable. By far the Best restaurant in BogenseMore

The restaurant is on the first floor of the harbour office. Nondescript outside but the view from the restaurant out over the harbour and sea is spectacular. Especially if you get a good sunset. And don't worry they have a stairlift if you can't walk...the stairs. You arrive to tables with nice tablecloths and glasses and silverware gleaming. They have a handle on the Covid-19. Lots of space and handsanitizers. The two toilets are clean and nice too. You can only get the set menu. You choose 3 to 5 courses and can get a winemenu or very nice juices and cocktails. We had three courses and i only had water as I was the designated driver. Our "waiter" was the new young girl who tried her best, but could only read what the label on the bottles said, when explaining the wine menu for my husband. They only have the set menu but we waited a minimum of 40 min. between each course. Here the waitstaff should have seen if we wanted THAT long a wait. Which we didn't. The starter, a fish dish with cod was divine. Perfectly cooked and executed. But then the main course was a 125 g porkchop (black iberian pig). At least a thierd of this was pure fat, so you only had 3 mouthfulls of meat. Then another 40 min. wait for the dessert. Which to me was too big, too sweet and in your face. You could see that the two waiters who were also present in the restaurant, had their favorite tables that they served. I belive that when you want your restaurant to reflect class, when that is what the restaurant, food and atmosphere execudes - then you also have to be able to execute it. So the waiters only serving some tables extra wine and when they do not remove wineglases when not used etc - that is a let down. My husband was furious when we left. And at the price of kr.1.000,- too expensive for the experience.More

We heard about restaurant Moeber in Bogense, where Frederik Berner is Chef. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the Harbour Masters Office. The building is looking a bit dull, but when you enter the building and walk up the staircase to the...second floor, things are changing. Soft jazz, cosy restaurant overlooking the Marina and you are met by the friendly staff. Expectations start to grow, we ordered a five course dinner. We were in for a treat!!!! The salted salmon was excellent, tartar of beet root was outstanding, the filet of veal was second to none and the cheese and desert was “to die for” All in all a great experience, with a superb service, excellent food and great eine....we will be back👌More
