Great food made by heart and fresh products. Lady Martina, whose parents started the restaurant at 1945, is incredible and wonderful chef and also very friendly and helpful owner who has the gift of making a customers feel that they are unique. In windy night of October our family of 5 members enjoyed the fantastic food and atmosphere. Highly recommended!!!

It's a bit off the beaten path but definitely worth visiting. Romantic, beautiful outside setting. Friendly staff and delicious food. The sunset is amazing.

If like us you want to escape the noise and hustle of the main Poros town quay, then it's worth seeking out Matina's taverna in Navy Bay. We were sailing and anchored close by and rowed ashore. Matina herself was on hand to invite us to eat in her taverna and we were seated on a table just by the... More

One of the best Greek salads we've had. We shared the salad and a pork souvlaki dish and they were perfect. The souvlaki came on a skewer with a nice salad and superb crisp round chips. We had a wonderful meal with a magnificent view of Poros/Galates. The owner Matina and her wait staff invite you in and make you... More

Matina and her tavern helped make our holiday really special. We ate at the restaurant 4/5 times over a 10 day trip and also stopped for drinks to view the harbour - Matinas has the best views of Poros and the best home cooked authentic Greek meals in the area. Service from Matina and her staff is excellent and in... More

Great place to spend an evening sitting by the waters edge and enjoying the great hospitality from matina and her great staff. You also get the best views of the island . I don't think I have enough room here to start telling you about her fantastic food. The advocado and prawns are a must.

We stopped here for a drink after a walk along the coast. Matina welcomed us and chatted about the restaurant and the menu so we decided to pop back for food later on. When we returned Matina recommended various home cooked dishes and I thought the beef stifado was absolutely delicious. And the famous klipity klop courgette fritters too. The... More

Second visit to Poros with the family and we had to stop at Matina's! Matina greeted us with open arms! The food is excellent and wonderfully prepared. Thank you for another amazing memory in Poros.
