The largest and delicious stake I ever seen and eat... Is a butcher restaurant with very fresh meats. Just book a table before you visit!!! Nice place with grate view of Poros island and galatas. Polite service but slow. We wait almost an hour for the starters.

We went there for the steak as it used to have a reputation for good meat. When we arrived we wandered past a youth sitting there and looked for a table, then he came up and said to sit anywhere. Ok, we found a table and he brought the menu and left straight away, no welcome, nothing, no offer of... More

Dimitris Family tavern is the place to go for a beef fillet, a T-bone steak or any other meat dish on the menu. Dimitris is a butcher. All our friends from the US, South Africa and Europe remember him. Great service and great value for money.

This place was so delicious! We felt like a change from the trad Greek seafood and fare so we ventured up the hill. We saw it on our walk to the clock tower earlier so it was easy to find later. Hosts were lovely and gracious. Best saganaki cheese on our trip. The rack of lamb( which they call cutlets)... More

As you get off the ferry, there is a hillside of picturesque buildings and Dimitris is in the middle of them! Just a short walk thru the narrow streets up the hill-don't try to drive! We literally had 2inches on each side of the car! They have a butcher shop and cut the beef fresh. Everything was wonderful and a... More

This is really a fantastic place for meat lovers. Cooked to perfection, excellent meat. Comes off the grill juicy and tender. Don't miss it if in Poros

Be prepared for the biggest and best meat dishes you have ever seen in your life. The pork chop extension is massive and difficult for one person to eat alone. Lamb chops also great. If you like meat then don't give this restaurant a miss but don't eat all day before you go.

Amazing food and pretty large portions. My personal recommendation is the house specialty which was the grilled liver with onions... Simply amazing. Very good service and hospitable owner. I strongly recommend it for at least one visit on your staying in Poros.

We always come to Dimitris when we visit Poros which is every year for the past 18 years. The family have moved on and now the children run the front of house. I love it when we stroll up to book our table in the day, you write you wishes on a piece of paper and your table is always... More

North Americans think that Europeans can't cook steak but Dimitri is one of the best - OK the best. There's a lovely view but you probably won't spend too much time looking out the window. I like the mushroom sauce, but only in season when they're fresh. The pepper sauce is great too.
