Almost 50 years of history,completely renovated,the best place in town for eating patsa(soup with lamb stomach,chopped in small pieces,with vinegar and garlic sauce.The perfect after hours calming soup in Thessaloniki.

We found this place through Rick Stein's Long Weekends show. He recommended the tripe soup from this restaurant and it was indeed delicious! Husband had the beef pasta and he enjoyed that too. Very authentic restaurant where locals eat. Glad to have been.

Fantastic food at a great price. Excellent service, everybody was so kind and attentive. I loved it so much I ate there the 3 days i stayed in Thessaloniki. Also, they serve you a ton of food. Loved it and would definitely return.

This is a great Greek restaurant with some history. First open in late 40-ies, now open 24/7... Freshly cooked traditional plates, soups and salads all very tasty. Don't expect anything too posh but the portions are big and the prices good for what you get....More

Description
In 1952, the brothers Nikos and Grigoris Tsarouchas open their own restaurant where they serve among other dishes tripe soup. The restaurant's history runs parallel to that of the city for decades how as it takes in its scents and transubstantiates them to the delicious tastes of traditional Greek Cuisine the dishes it offers to the generation of residents living in the city or to travelers passing by.
