As they like to tell you, this is the oldest taverna in Agios Gordios, having been started by the current owner's Grandmother. We had a nice evening meal watching the sun set. The taverna is right on the beach front. As it was the end...of season a number of dishes were no longer available, but the owner recommended a good starter and main course for vegetarians, which was also gluten free. The starter was large, so he suggested we shared it. We had stuffed peppers and tomatoes for the main. Local simple wine was served in metal jug. Everything was just right.More

We visited this Taverna twice in 3 days as the food was so much better than our all inclusive hotel. Very nice, traditional and good value for money we would highly recommend. Also the fact that they have stayed open right up till the last...day of the season shows they put the customers first, when a lot of restaurants in the area are closed a lot earlier! Brilliant place !More

This is I think the longest running restaurant in Agios Gordios and no wonder...it is the best place to eat here! The girl running the apartments where we stayed reccomended this place and we are glad she did! Always good when a local gives you...a good tip on where to go. This is family owned and run by the owners and a very engaged and kind staff - we really loved this place. I think we had the daughter of the owner was serving us if I remember right, and she made our dinner very special with her excellent advice on the menu and great service. Really good at her work! The food was very good, simple greek cuisine but large portions and very good fresh ingredients! Of course the location was outstanding an our sunset meal was fantastic. Enjoy yoru time here, have an ouzo, some wine and a long delicious greek dinner expereince - this is the place to have it! Once again, thank you to the family that owns it for having us at your restaurant...your passion for your restaurant and food does not go unnoticed - it is one of our best Greek experiences in all our years and trips to Greece. Outstanding!More

We had lunch with friends here and shared the platter (50 euro) and even with my husbands fulsome appetite it took a while to get through the red mullet, large prawns, grilled anchovies, grilled squid, chips, tzatziki, skordalia and salad. It was delicious in a...wonderful setting in this most traditional taverna and with lovely friendly service - highly recommend.More
