We visited Tokyo Joe in Mykonos with my girlfriend 4 days ago,
The staff that welcomed us were extremely polite and always smiling.
They helped us with the menu from a variation of special plates and signature dishes of the restaurant.
The special nigiris were awesome new flavors and the signature maki rolls with different Peruvian Asian influences all in very affordable prices comparing the other places in Mykonos
Trust me Tokyo joe has nothing to be jealous of from
Big brands around in the island.
Thank you for everything hope to visit again soon.

Last Saturday we visited Tokyo Joe as a family of 4 and had a great experience!
The service was fantastic as the waiters were so nice, polite and would always top up our water.
It’s such a refreshing thing to see when your a waiter wearing a mask and having to be extra cautious in these difficult times is so positive. (I’ve worked in the industry before and can give them a great “hats off” for their great work ethic)
We got a mix of dishes with some sushi and and grilled food as one of us doesn’t eat sushi.
The recommended choices were great and we had just the right amount of food.
We all enjoyed the amazing desserts and the amazing cocktails as they were so refreshing.
All in all, it’s a must visit place!! Very value for money!

We recently came to mykonos with some friends and we ate at this restaurant through recommendations of other people... gotta admit it they were right the food was amazing and my favorite dishes were the wasabi dragon roll and black cod. The vibe of the restaurant was very hospitable and chill I’d recommend anyone who comes in this island to come here at least once for lunch or dinner you won’t regret it.

My wife and I visited this restaurant tonight and were quite disappointed.
Booked a few nights earlier but couldn't go when originally booked so changed the booking to tonight. When we arrived we were greeted with a very busy member of staff. No smile and not a warm welcome. This sort of set the tone. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant which had quite tight table arrangements (which felt a little odd in the COVID world). The feel of the place is chic, tidy and modern.
We ordered our food fairly promptly with a mix of sushi and hot mains. Sushi came first and was nice.
Then came the mains, my wife had salmon and I had pad thai. Having used chop sticks for our sushi we asked for cutlery, which the waitress promptly gave to the table next to us. Couldn't get her attention or any of the other staff as they were, by this point very, very full and seemingly operating in a somewhat chaotic manner. The table who received the cutlery kindly passed one set to my wife so she could have her meal.
There were no questions around the food from any staff during the meal (sushi or mains) i.e. is everything ok with your food. No question around more drinks throughout the entire time we were there (we only had the bottled water originally served). Only interaction with our waitress was her refilling glasses with water without any dialogue.
My wife's salmon was nice, if not done as requested (well) but my pad thai was not the best. I have traveled to Thailand on many occasions and so perhaps I have a narrow view as to what pad thai should taste like, but it had a strong vinegar taste, not enough to make the meal awful but enough that it wasn't as enjoyable as it should have been.
After finishing our food the table was not cleared for quite some time and as a result of the general vibe of the place we decided to leave without dessert.
Overall, the food wasn't bad, wasn't great either but the staffing was below average which left us disappointed for a place with such good reviews. We felt the staff generally had an unfriendly approach (perhaps they need more of them or indeed just ones that have a better more personable attitude) and the vibe of the whole place felt a little pretentious.

Second time in Tokyo joe for this summer!! I came here around June with my partner for dinner. The food was astounding we both enjoyed it wholeheartedly. For starters we had rock shrimp tempura and mains we had a salmon teriyaki Roll and black cod. The black cod has been the best we have tried so far I would totally recommend anyone that comes here to order this dish you won’t regret it and the cocktails were amazing the Ilias the barman was an amazing entertainer always with a smile the vibe of the restaurant was very hospitable. We decided to come back this September again and we recommend anyone that come to mykonos to atleast come here for lunch or dinner you won’t regret it!

Being a vegetarian I found it a little difficult to find restaurants in Mykonos with more than one vegetarian option. However, I was pleasantly surprised by Tokyo Joe which caters very well to vegetarians!
The vegetarian bao buns were incredible as were the other dishes. Over the 7 days of our stay in Mykonos, Tokyo Joe was my favourite restaurant. The staff were also very friendly and efficient.

The quality of food here is exceptional, portions are very generous and value for money is good. Especially for sushi in Mykonos where it is normally very expensive.
The online booking system is a little confusing as you have to confirm your booking twice after receiving a ‘thank you’ message from the restaurant - this could be improved.
We accidentally didn’t confirm our table but staff were very accommodating, service was efficient and friendly, and overall a nice atmosphere.
We would recommend this restaurant to sushi lovers and will definitely return when we come back to mykonos. 😄

My partner and I, visited the restaurant during our holidays in Mykonos. Food was amazing with perfect value, we had selection of sushi and the house rolls was to die for.
As a main I had the black cod and my partner had the PadThai noodles. We both are very well experienced on this type of food though our jobs and travelling. But the hit was the staff. We had very warm welcome with the waitress Lu (if I am not wrong). She was very helpful with food and drink selection and always on top of us for assistance. Fantastic experience in total, it is a Must visit!

Went there with my friends so, havent seen anywhere else they have the nicest plexi glass dividing the sitting area. You feel safe with everything going. We visited yesterday that there was a party ( apparently every saturday only ) and after 00.30 the lights turned off and music got bit louder..
The food from salad ( chicken mango salad , crispy duck salad must have ) to appetizers we tried king crab tartar with yuzu and langoustines with amazing flavor dip.
Black cod was also amazing better than nobu and rlly much better prices.
Staff was great and told us if we would like to leave a comment so that is also why im doing that coz everything was so great.

The service was excellent as was the food. Every time our water glass was just about empty, the guy would come around and fill it up.
We tried many different things - beef bao, shrimp gyoza, tempura roll, California roll, chicken filet (which was chicken teriyaki), and pineapple friend rice. Everything was delicious and flavorful. My favorite was the pineapple fried rice.
At the end, we had tiny Ice cream bars that were the perfect ending to our dinner.

Excellent restaurant, excellent food, excellent service. Highly recommend the beef bao, beef bao burger (huge), rock shrimp, teriyaki salmon, and the sprill rolls and yakisoba noodles for vegetarians. Wide variety of sushi. They gave us free ice cream at the end of our meal. Service was great. Highly recommend visiting even if you are not a fan of traditional japanese food.

Really delicious and interesting dishes that were well worth the money, especially when compared to other overpriced restaurants in the area that do not match the quality of flavour and freshness. Cocktails match the food and were reasonable for Mykonos standard, 12 euros across the board. This is definitely a restaurant worth visiting!

Excellent dinner, the restaurant looks great.
Sharing dishes for us, we tried 6 plates, food was just perfect, highlight dragon roll, suggested!
Service was extremely precise, at the stage that could result even too much attention, better exceed than having no service, but leave a moment to your guests!
Quality price, to be in Mykonos, can’t ask for better, we had a bottle of wine €40, 6 plates, they offered a small ice cream at the end, €120. Totally worth it.

The food was delicious- we really enjoyed the crispy duck rolls. Service was also really good and one of the waiters was so lovely, making a huge fuss of our daughter. The only thing that let the meal down was at the end when we were paying, the waiter stood over my husband’s shoulder and said “Just to let you know, service charges are not included so if you’d like to add a tip…”. We just found this quite rude as we would have added a tip anyway and didn’t appreciate him standing there requesting one. Then when we added 5€, he seemed to question it a few times as if it wasn’t enough. For us, this end to the meal really put a dampener on it!!

My daughters have been craving for Asian food for a week now. We found this cool restaurant not too far from the Windmills. Their crispy duck, king prawn tempura and shrimp gyoza were very good. The pad thai deviated from what our taste buds were used to but they were still good. We also ordered the pineapple fried rice and it was gone pretty quick. Dessert was yummy and whatever drinks they gave us in the cute shot glasses can only be described as sweetly delicious. The unusual dinnerware and hip surroundings were Instagram perfect for my teenagers. Last but not least, the staff is super duper attentive and friendly!
