Love Greek food - but after 4 nights of grills, kebaps etc this was a really nice change. Great Asian food, fresh ingredients cooked with a light touch and accompanied by excellent service and a modern ambience. Nick really looked after us well - discrete attentive service with a smile. Will definitely return.

Only had lunch of a few starters which were very tasty. Service was very quick and friendly. Will be back for dinner after seeing the size of the sea bass

Perfect location by the sea looking out to the harbour. Staff friendly and welcoming greeted with kiss on both cheeks! Shown to table straight away by the sea. Water was poured straight away while we looked at menu. Food was very high standard. We really enjoyed 2 courses. Highly recomend. Gorgeous place, location & food. Very special.

Although this restaurant is called Kymata Sushi Bar, the restaurant serves much more than sushi. Some of the dishes are Japanese, others are Greek. The wine list is good and against good prices. We first came to this place in the evening for having a glass of wine. As we liked it there, we also decided to go there for... More

- big, clean, superb sea front setting with crashing waves on private sandy beach. Nice toilets. Half the family had souvlaki and rated it less than at En Plo in Rethymnon, but better than elsewhere. One 6/10 rating for the fresh swordfish. My boureki was very nice. Service friendly and very good.

It is not just the food but the whole location and the ambience of the place right up against the sea with small beach. Our son can be quite difficult to feed but he was brave and tried the Swordfish. He gave it a 9/10 and that is high praise for him. Staff are friendly with a warm welcome. This... More

It is very lovely at Kymata. The food is great especially the chicken snitchzel!! Lovely food but we did have a very dodgy crepe but other than that the food and service was great💯👍

We was there yesterday and we was schockt about the quality of fish!! The tuna was for sure over 2 days old and also the crab meat was to old..... They use ketchup mayonnaise in there sushi. For me sushi is about fresh products!! and not old fisch and mayonnaise. Sorry but very bad place and to expansive!

Its a nice place offering an interesting sushi variety. A good concept in Heraklion. Prices sushi-normal. You wont regret it.
