My visit to Stelios was memorable and I will return on my next visit to Chania. The fresh catch of the day was Sea Bream, Anchovies, Calamari, and Sardines; we ordered all of them as well as salads and many carafes of the house white wine. With the sea less than 10 meters away the sounds of the ocean and... More

We stayed for three weeks at Hotel Porto Veneziana, which is next door, and ate at Stelios almost every night. One can see the fresh fish and all the food on the menu before ordering. Many Greek people eat in the restaurant which is a good sign. The situation is on the old harbour and the atmosphere is friendly and... More

Lovely atmosphere in a small family run restaurant next to the harbour. The fish dishes are excellent, as is the service.

We had dinner at the restaurant, which we chose because if it's TripAdvisor rating (there are so many to choose from...). The waiter was a bit impatient and overworked. The starters were nice, nothing special. The main dishes were too either too oily (the fried ones) or too dry (the grilled fish). This was an OK meal, but not worthy... More

We sat there as a couple and we ordered the small seafood mix which was more than enough for both of us. The location is great: just by the old port but because of that: beggars comes to the tables. The service is terrific and warm and the prices are fair.

We highly recommend this local restaurant by Chania harbour. This very popular harbour restaurant, with a small seating area, and frequented by locals, fills up quickly , and serves good fresh local food at reasonable prices, with a view. When we were there, we got talking to a local boatsman & his friends (their watering hole). We recommend. caroline ,... More

It's a simple nice place with friendly service. We took a big fish plate and it was really huge! Four of us ate almost 2/3. I liked the calamari and shrimps. Everything else was no better than very average. The worst was the old oil used for frying. Even their fried zucchini smelled fish. Together with some drinks our check... More

It's not the prettiest taverna on the harbour but it's definitely the best for food! Away from the tourist side is this fantastic seafood heaven with a litre of wine for less than 10 euros, gorgeous views over the water, great service and the best fresh seafood we had in Chania- it's well worth a visit! Must try: octopus, calamari... More

Pass by all the tourist restaurants around the harbour in channia, and at nearly the end you will find Stelios. Good Greek seafood at reasonable prices. Customers seemed to be mainly local.
