We spent a week in Chania rating every cafe/bar/restaurant we visited and this won the prize, so we went again for our final night on holiday and there was fabulous live music playing and a warm welcome from the hosts who remembered us. It's such...More

This place was so good we visited it twice during our week in Chania. The tzaziki was amazing, as was everything else we ordered. We had the daily dishes both times, and they were both great! The staff and service were also great.

Came here for lunch on a rainy day in Chania, when all the harbour front restaurants just looked that bit too tacky. Stumbled up an alleyway to find this hidden treasure. Potentially the best lunch in Crete for us so far! We had a veggie...More

There is so much choice in Chania these days ! We found this place quite easily and were very lucky to get a table straight away, it is very popular - the serving staff seemed to have to spend as much time telling people about...More

Searching for lunch in Chania we stumbled over this hidden gem. In a narrow alley we got the greatest lunch in Crete so far. Homemade lemonjuice with ginger, fresh shrimps, mushroom risotto - all great and very tasteful dishes. Highly recommended.

This ranks as one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Situated along a narrow atmospheric alleyway in the beautiful town of Chania lie the few tables of he Koutourouki restaurant where the most magical dishes are served. Every dish on the menu is...More

This is in a very narrow alley, looks a bit ramshackle, people passing through brushing against the tables. Our waiter was in a bad mood. Very abrupt, and he slammed down our glasses! He sat us at a very dark table. I ordered the mushroom...More

Down an alley (don't mistake the tables on the pavement from the front restaurant) this is almost always busy but that's because the food and flavours are awesome. The service is excellent with friendly smiling staff. Nothing is too much trouble. They even have live...More
