We stopped here for lunch. Nice, quiet open courtyard (further down the lane than depicted on the google map). A nice respite from all the crowds. Service was very slow, only two wait staff, but the food was freshly prepared and tasty. A couple of the appetizers were out, but we found something good to eat and enjoyed the relaxing... More

Worst meal we had whilst in Chania!! Moussaka was luke warm and a rubbery stodgy square slapped on a plate with nothing else to go with it! Brown paper 'table mats' placed on top of a wet dirty table. Service was indifferent. We were lured in by the quaint Greek ambience of the old building but when the food arrived... More

By the time we were sitted we were informed that 80% of the appetizer dishes were over, although they were already few. We went for a dinner and we didn't want to eat much so we ordered a Kritiki sallad (awful, like the mixed the left overs of 2 other sallads - the boiled potatoes were almost raw), a tzatziki... We had just walked from our hotel Ammos into Chania and had worked up quite an appetite! The restaurant is in a beautiful setting and looks like an oasis near the busy waterfront! But unfortunately the waiter we were allocated just wasn't interested in serving. We had to keep asking first if we could order a drink then for some... More

We did all the best rated restaurants on TripAdvisor and we had some serious let downs. One night we we're walking around and stumbled on this hidden gem. A-MA-ZING! The best dinner we had during our whole stay. Even went back for seconds on our last night. Great atmosphere even though I'm not really into live music during my dinner.... More

We visited this restaurant last week and were greatly disappointed. It looked very nice on the outside, so we decided to try it, as we were very hungry. Soon we discovered that it was one of those overpriced touristic places that try to rip people off. In a nutshell, very expensive and very small portions. When you pay 9 euros... More

The food was absolutely excellent and service pleasant, so called "porter" was discreet and didn't press anyhow, thanks for that! Atmosphere was also very homey. We will certainly come back next time.

The inner courtyard is very pretty. That's the reason I ate there. I went for lunch and ordered stuffed vegetables (gemista). They were very nice, full of flavor. Unfortunately, the service was veeerryyyy slow... Maybe it was a one off.

A unique place, almost untouched from the period that was built, located in the heart of Old Town, in a yard ( covered ). Delicious food, a little bit more expensive than the other restaurants. It has live traditional music, a point that differentiates it from others.

Very poor service, most of the food on the menu was not available. Many unaccaptable mistakes. Even though the restuarant was much better in the past maybe today they can not cope with the increase in business.
