Not the best looking neighbourhood, from the street, not the best looking restaurant either but that all changes once inside. Top, top, quality food and good wine at very reasonable prices. Athiri already has a Michelin Bib award and should be aiming higher on what we ate. Well done to all the staff too who made the experience so relaxed... More

I decided to go there with my boyfriend because of all the good reviews i read and needless to say i was very excited. Unfortunately in the end, I was extremely disappointed. Apart from the starters which were good, the main courses were not good at all. The fish of the day was, from what i was told (as my... More

For a place that sports one Michelin star, this I a curiously underwhelming restaurant. IN summer its vast verdant yard buzzes with happy diners but the winter room on top of a steep staircase is somewhat melancholy while ostensibly dressed in chic moody colors. The food is a puzzle. A fine sea bass carpaccio and a tasty meat-filled dumpling for... More

Athiri's chef, Alexander Kardasis, creates excellent dishes based on traditional Greek recipes but always with a twist. The ingredients are the best from local Greek producers and the end result is a tasty experience! Excellent value for the kind of services and good wine list. You must try it!

We visited there with family in November. Overall we had a good time. Food was very nice, service was friendly and attentive and reasonable priced. Personally i just found it little bit more cold as place from what i wanted. Louder music, less lighting etc recommended

Very nice food and service, great garden and absolutely fair prices. The restaurant serves local specialities with top regional products. Try the chocolate mousse!

We dined here on a Saturday night and it was just great. We thought it one of our best meals in all Greece. It is bit out of the way, but offers a fresh take on Greek food without any fussiness or preciousness so often found. It was busy with locals so we knew it was for us, well off... More

Nice setting in a garden, enjoyed the visit very much. Definitely a popular place, lots of kids playing around - so do not expect anything informal. Excellent fish of the day with beans salad, interesting Greek wine (tried a wild fermented Papargyriou). And yes, nice attentive service (who perhaps could have guided me to better pair the first and second... More

Athiri is a pricey restaurant but fully compensates with excellent Greek food! At first I was a bit disappointed by the yard which was very basic - cafeteria like -compared to the hype of the place. However, as soon as the first dishes came..we realized it didn't really matter. Every dish was a delight! Reasonably portioned and honest to Greek... More

We went to Athiri on a Thursday night at 8pm... So relatively early for Greek dining! We were the first couple to arrive and had our pick of the tables on the outside terrace. The staff we're very attentive and the food was fantastic! I particularly recommend the beef with the greens and dill for main and leave room for... More
