We stayed at King George for a week, and visited Tudor Hall for breakfast regularly. Best staff and better view than from the neighboring GB Rooftop. We were staying with a baby (23 months) and the staff were exceptional at the restaurant! Always making a separate straw for the baby (cutting it to size so that it's easier for the... More

The restaurant boasts an incredible location and stunning views. Make sure you book your table in advance to ensure you have the view of the Acropolis. The service is fantastic and all the staff are very friendly and ensure you have a great experience. The good is of very good quality and the menu is extensive. Can't wait to go... More

I do not like writing negative reviews, particularly about a place to which I have been on many previous occasions and have never left dissatisfied. However, we recently took two friends from UK to Tudor Hall at the King George Hotel for dinner and I left feeling frankly ripped off. We were none of us particularly hungry, so we decided... More

The Grand Bretagne was not able to seat us, due our late flight however they made a reservation at the King George. The food was outstanding, service impeccable and view, well the picture says it all.

This restaurant offers incredible views of the Acropolis while dining on delicious fresh food. We enjoyed scorpion fish from Corfu which was fabulous ; and treated to traditional Greek liquor compliments of the chef. The breakfast buffet is incredible . This lovely experience is not to be missed !

It's in the 7th floor of King George Hotel at Syntagma. Decor is classical, which is in line with the hotel itself. It serves modern Greek cuisine. And it has a wonderful view of The Acroplois. I ordered the Lamb and my husband ordered the chicken and both were very good. It's not cheap at EUR 34 and EUR 25,... More

Like the terrace at the adjacent Grande Bretagne, Tudor Hall affords a fine view of the Acropolis - and very good food as well. Prices are high, but so is quality. Can't understand the name, though - the portraits on the wall are not Tudors, and the cuisine certainly isn't English. Revel in the fine Greek wines on the list... More

We were sent here at the behest of our hotel next door. We wanted something convenient as we were tired that served more traditional Greek Cuisine. The view was nice (we had the exact same view in our hotel room) so it wasn't that big of a deal for us. If you didnt see this view every day, it would... More

We were staying at the King George. It was our last night and we had been busy all day. Rather than run out to find a little cafe we decided to eat in-what are good decision. Impeccable service and food. Incredible service. Knowledgeable wine captains and waitstaff. and a view to kill for-seriously. If you only can afford a drink,... More

Staying in Syntagma

Neighbourhood Profile
Syntagma
Perhaps the best place to get your bearings is Syntagma Square, crowned by the imposing Parliament building on its upper side and surrounded by other large structures, such as the exclusive Hotel Grande Bretagne. The grand avenues that lead towards Omonia are also full of massive Neoclassical edifices like the Numismatic Museum and those around smaller Platia Kolokotroni. Here you will find lots of travel agents, bookshops and fashion shops, especially on Ermou Street. Just south of Syntagma Square, you can take a breather in the lush National Gardens, which extend into the grounds of the Zappeio palace and beyond to the ancient Temple of Olympian Zeus.
