Super coffees. Nothing more to say. Ok perhaps that you can choose seasonal specials and or different brewings. Oh and there are some champion barisra's to top it all.

The home of many world coffee champions - it's clear that these guys are no stranger to the coffee business. Their presence and reputation travels well beyond Greece. Try their amazing range of single origins espresso and their 'Ninety Plus' as filter brews. Ask the baristas questions and begin to understand a bit more about 'specialty coffee'

Coffee was good, and it was a nice place to chill at. Many people go there though, so it is a bit crowded. You can get the same standard of coffee at a cheaper price nearby too.

This little place is repute by our local hosts to be the best coffee shop in Athens and I tend to agree. They drive clear across the city to get their coffee here, both to go and their beans and ground coffee. These folks really care about making good coffee and doing it with style. Their baristas have either won... More

Staying in Omonia

Neighbourhood Profile
Omonia
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its underground stalls, the square is now mostly frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a sense of old commercial Athens, especially at the picturesque meat, fish and vegetable markets some way beyond the City Hall. The blocks to the west of Athinas are home to many Chinese and South Asian traders, adding a multicultural atmosphere to what was until the late 1990s a very homogenous society.
