Saw the good reviews so decided to try this place out. A friendly waitress greeted us, the decor and atmosphere was very relaxed. Good, unique choices on the menu. We had aubergine and walnut salad to start. Really tasty. I had the smoked trout, Black...More

I have been visiting the place since it opened and I can say that the food and overall service offered has been of high standards every time. The materials used for the food are natural and from small places in the Greek country side and...More

You should definitely have a meal here. Proper Greek food with an innovative touch. We had a couple of main courses and 4-5 starters. Everything was very tasty.

Mentioned this cosy place: it is opposite to one of posh bars so loved by locals, restaurant public is alternatively quiet and decent. We came at 7pm and were the first. Local food is served, nice warm interior and attentive personnel. Pity, that day there...More

Enjoyed our meal! We had the chicken schnitzel and a pasta dish and both were tasty. We came for lunch and were able to sit outside, wasn't that busy. Great location on one of those smaller streets though there is some vehicle traffic.

May pay to pre book if you want a seat downstairs as each night appeared pretty busy. We were staying nearby at an AirBNB and the host provided this restaurant as a recommendation. We certainly were not disappointed as the food quality and service were...More

We went there on a weekend and the place was quiet busy, we sat upstairs as everywhere else was full. The service was a bit slow but the food was really good but a little pricey. Overall a good experience.

We have been given Melilotos address by a friend. Walking distance from Monastiraki station and across the plaka district. The food was great and the service professional. We went twice and tried each time different plates...Unfortunately i forgot the names. Sort of meetballs cretan ways,...More

The food is nice although a bit too salty for my taste. The service is ok but it is quite cramped upstairs so not much space for a larger person to sit or move around. The bathroom was not the cleanest.

The service was quite nice, but the glasses for wine was with prints of lipstic. Furthermore, we took the grilled beef which was disgusting, the rose color of it you can see at the image. I have no idea if it was really beef. We...More

Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains
the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay

Description
Downtown, busy and small family restaurant, with a few tables outside. Fresh, local food with a twist, cooked with love and best quality ingredients. It is placed among cafes and bars, so it is the right place to feel the rythm of the city!
