Enormous choice of more than fine veggie eating. Even if you are not vegan you will enjoy the cuisine.

Avocado was absolutely great! Spoilt for choice of delicious and healthy meals. The food is very reasonably priced as it's super yummy and the portions are very generous! My boyfriend and I also ordered a coconut milk cappuccino and it was by far the best we've ever had! Will definitely be recommending ❤👌

We had some vegan dishes. Everything was delicious and the service was ecxellent! Good prices considering many of the ingredients are uncommon and organic. Will definitely go again.

Nice little place. So little we missed it at first. We ate two kinds of risotto and a green salad- all were very good.

Avocado is one of those places you may miss just walking on the street, but it is not a place to miss! The food is all vegetarian and very vegan-friendly, but very tasty and not just for vegetarians. Seating is somewhat limited downstairs, so we were seated upstairs where they have low-to-the-ground tables and cushions for seats. Surprisingly we actually... More

A very nice place. Good atmosphere. Excellent food. We had heard about this place and it exceeded our expectations. Went there with an international group, 2 of us from Iceland, one from New Zealand, one from Korea, one from USA and one from Slovakia and we are all vegetarians. Everybody was happy. The staff was extremely pleasant. Thank you!

I wanted to order everything on the menu but limited myself to one appetizer and one entree. I was accompanied by a meat-lover (practically paleo) who was initially hesitant but ended up loving the food. We ordered the satori rolls to start, then the macro udon noodles and life's a rainbow. I wouldn't have changed a thing for any of... More

Staying in Plaka

Neighbourhood Profile
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
