We stayed in Athens for one week in May 2016 and ate here THREE times. The food was amazing and so were the staff. If you go you must try the vegan souvlaki, I am still dreaming of it!

I prefer it in the winter. During summer to much noise in the tables in front of the street. Good food as well if hungry.

I have been to many places in the US and Europe, and this was on par with some of the better ones in terms of the creativity and taste of the dishes. From what I can tell the locations is more popular as a cafe, which the first... More

I only had the dolmas but they were absolutely delicious and very flavoursome. The dip which accompanied the dolmas was tasty too, and it was nice that the restaurant made me a vegan dip since I couldn't have the yogurt. The waitress was very sweet as well and she gave us some mastika as a treat before we left. It... More

Shabby chic atmosphere made it casual with great music to add to the ambience. Service very attentive and food delicious especially the vegan chocolate dessert!!! A little pricier than some of the other vegan places we tried in Athens but well worth a visit.

The service was attentive, the atmosphere casual, and the food was fantastic. Any vegans or vegetarians will be very happy with this selection for one of their meals while in Athens.

We went for a lunch with my wife and loved the place. The chef mr. Nikos Gaitanos is one of the most charismatic and creative chefs I have met. The food was fabulous and the service was very warm and kind. We enjoyed our order fast and we wanted to take some more for home! Totally recommended not only for... More

Staying in Exarchia

Neighbourhood Profile
Exarchia is in many ways Athens’ best-kept secret, discovered by relatively few international visitors. Located behind the main University and Polytechnic buildings, it is unsurprisingly home to many students, intellectuals and politicos. This is reflected in the area’s vibrant street art and graffiti, which seems to cover almost every inch of wall space. Some of the best Athenian tavernas are located here, as well as its most alternative bars and underground music venues. You'll find political bookshops and quirky stores here, yet it is also a neighborhood inhabited by families and older folk. On Saturdays, punks and grandmothers alike head for Kallidromiou Street, nestled below Strefi Hill, to pick up fresh produce at the traditional laiki agora (street market).
