What an amazing location for a restaurant, just stunning. However this restaurant does not rely on the building alone for your experience. The attentive, knowledgable staff throughout the evening, the great value fixed price menu or the extensive a la carte (which we chose), and ultimately the food on the plate which was presented beautifully and was matched with its... After visiting the Palacio de Bolsa, we had a very fine diner at O Comercial. The food and wines are great. The general atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxed. The service is correct and attentive. They have daily menus for a good price, but we ordered a la carte. I enkoyed very much my tuna steak and the local mountain... More

We had a superb night at this restaurant. The only downside was difficulty booking. We tried in person during the afternoon and were told we had to phone. We tried to book on line but failed so we arrived at 7.30 and were lucky to get a table for four. The set meals were 23 euros and excellent value. A... More

Lovely decor, looks like a very expansive place, how impressive to discover a 15 euros menu for a 3-course lunch with wine and water (20 euros for dinner)! Food quality was alright, Vegetable soup to start with, followed by a choice of fried fish or pork, and a homemade desert. Great deal, great place, friendly service, I recommend it for... More

The restaurant is located inside the Palacio da Bolsa building, which is amazing. Beautiful architecture, including the wonderful arches we all so love in this part of the world. Wine list is local, reasonable, and impressive. I don't think I saw a bottle over 50 euros, most where in the 20 euro range. Set course was also reasonable at 20... More

Located in the hyper centre of Porto, a few minutes walk from the Ribeira is this imposing restaurant located within the old Stockmarket building (Palacio da Bolsa) in the original comercial telegraphic room (hence the name). Fabulous views especially at night, exquisite gastronomic food (fish soup and veal cheeks with its prune risotto are a definite must in the "à... More

We visited in the evening, so the actual Palace was closed, but you do walk a bit through it. It felt a bit church like and the restaurant had a really majestic feel to it. Since I am vegetarian, they offered to prepare pretty much anything on the menu vegetarian! Now, this doesn't happen a lot. The food and wine... More

Quite a nice experience dining in the Palacio da Bolsa which is a huge historic building, the former stock exchange. The restaurant is quite attractive. The food was good. We enjoyed a salad with 3 appetizers surrounding it. Had the duck with risotto and sautéed kale. Apple crisp and decaf espresso for dessert. By no means the best meal of... More

Wonderful food, polite staff and excellent value at 20 Euro for two courses. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this restaurant and would recommend it without hesitation if you are looking for just that little bit of extra class...but don't want to be ripped off!
