I went there, after I heard so many opinions about this place and the icon "francesinha". Yes, it was no doubt, the best I ever ate in the last times. Thanks a lot for this good experience.

Pleasant for a snack, reasonable, although they don't have an extensive menu they try to accommodate your tastes.

We visited the place on our first night in Porto, we arrived late and hungry. The hostess of the restaurant arranged a table and advised us what to eat. The food was amazing, very tasty, genuine taste of Porto. The wine was good too. It...was a great experience thanks for the lovely hostess and very good service and quality!!!More

You see photographs of this dish and it’s hard to imagine what it is and how it could possibly taste any good. But the Francesinha is a revelation and these guys are the masters! A sandwich filled with three kinds of meat and smothered in...cheese and a beer flavoured tomato sauce, with a side of fries. Genius, delicious, heart attack inducing but completely worth it. Highly recommendMore

This is the most typical dish of Porto an it was my first time. It´s a little bit heavy but you have to eat it like the locals. Good experience.

You go to this place to eat "francesinha", the whole review is based on that only. I love francesinha so I am always available to try a new place! Well I surely was not expecting what happened next. The food was served fast, simple plated...but nice, the french fries were hand cut which is always better than getting pre-fried stuff.  When people talk about francesinha they used to say the sauce/gravy is everything, I dont fully agree but I accept is an important factor.  Well the first time I taste the sauce...it was normal, actually it was weird, like almost blend. It was not a good start and I was starting to regret the choice, but all I could do was to give it a try. Well when I cut it and taste everything together I just got blown away by it!  The ingredients choosen were perfect, everything worked so good together, the cheese was amazing the steak so tender and the sauce that before was nothing special, now was making the whole thing taste perfectly! I was amazed how such thing could happen and since then, this place enter my top 3 best places to eat a francesinha! Give a try if you like to get surprised!More

We went there because of a friend's suggestion, and she was right, Franzesinha Café has one of the best Franzesinhas in Porto, really fast service, nice waiters. Worth a try!

The Francesinhas we ate here were incredibly good. The fries that came with it were also tasty. It's a lot better to eat your Francesinha here than to eat it in the city center. I can totally recommend this Restaurant. The Service was very nice...and after, this is no exaggeration, 3 minutes we already had our food.More
