I'm a frequent customer of Casa Agrícola and I have to say that hat in the past 2 years I've come here I've yet to be disappointed in the place. I don't come much for the restaurant aspect of it as much as I do for the café and bar side but I must admit that the service is always... More

My boyfriend and I had dinner here in October. I had the confit duck with pesto risotto and it was beautiful. I still think about this dish. Best meal I had in Porto. Can't wait to go back.

The place is very cozy. The staff is friendly and welcoming, very attentive to everyone. I suggest the café/bar on the ground floor if you are alone or in a small group. You see regular customers having the usual talk with staff. I spotted an adorable elderly couple having their regular coffee after lunch while reading the newspaper and chatting... More

This was just the best meal we had in a week in Portugal. Started with a Caldo Verde (traditional soup from the North of Portugal) followed by the confit of duck with risotto and pesto - a great combination. Others had local dishes - bacalhau, octopus - and really enjoyed them. Excellent selection of wines, super desserts, good service and... More

Stayed near here on a recent visit to Porto and came one evening on the recommendation of the Lonely Planet guide. I was pretty happy with my meal but my wife less so. There's a nice bar area downstairs where you can also get less formal, light meals. Nice beers, wines, drinks..with some outside tables. The restaurant is upstairs. We... More

The attention was very good and the food tasty. We enjoyed the place as well. Although it was complete, there was no noise and we could be quiet.

After a day at the beach we were looking for a pub meal but pleasantly got shown to the restaurant. Excellent fresh tasting food to a high standard, whilst retaining the Portuguese authenticity. A fitting reward for our last night in Porto.

Nothing special. We had octopus with potatos. If one is hungry, it is a good restaurant. But do not expect a great diner or a very creative one.

In Porto on business staying in a hotel just around the corner. I was looking for something traditional, good, and close by and all the reviews pointed here. The place was busy, even early on a Thursday evening, but they found a corner for a solo diner with no trouble at all. The staff were great, the building really unique,... More

We liked this place. It is comfortable, friendly and offers a good range of well prepared dishes. Not gourmet but good ingredients which are well cooked and of good portions. Good wine list too. Ideal restaurant really.
