This place was fantastic. Looked up best restaurants on trip advisor and booked in before our trip. Small dining room so be sure to book and not be disappointed. Superb food and service. A little gem.

Excellent food . We both had the duck and sausage lasagne which was gorgeous and shared their mixture of all 5 puddings. Lovely surrounding , it was like sitting in your own dining room. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Make sure you book as...More

Food was very good but not awesome. We enjoyed our visit but don't like when servers are paying more attention to their cell phones and less to the customers needs. If service was better we would have rated this review a 5 star. Stay off...More

This place is worth visiting. A different kind. Good Food & wine. 2nd floor. Like a living room from the old ages. A chandelier in the ceiling, real candles ... you have to see this yourself.

We found Camafeu on Trip Advisor and decided to eat at the restaurant. The food, wine & service, in fact the whole experience was exceptional! We had a great night and would thoroughly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Porto!

Dear traveller, I suggest you contact Camefeu directly. I wouldn't rely on the restaurant to read TripAdvisor on a daily basis to check for reservations.... Although I know them as being very conscientious. Try their... More

Description
On the first floor of a historical site in Porto's downtown, recently opened a small quiet restaurant, called Camafeu. Go back to the times where you had a meal at your grandparent's place, where the decor was romantic but eclectic and where you can indulge yourself on mouth-watering but not-pretentious food.At dinner time, you are invited to stay for a late drink and enjoy, through the big windows, the scenery of the square bellow (Praca Carlos Alberto, named after our late King). We invite you to try the tender Sirloin steak or the Duck with figg jam, or the Prawn porridge among other fabulous appetizers and main-courses. Everybody will love our home-made desserts. Don't forget to ask for the famous Portuguese wine from the Douro region, either it's Port, White or Red.
