I was lucky to get a table at last minute. The restaurant has been very helpful and friendly started from taking my booking. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and special. Their appetizers with olive oil from north and south of Portugal, cued meat, olives, cheese and bread are all good. I picked Fish Soup as my starter and... More

A little hard to find, but well worth the search. The building is a few hundred years old, so the ambiance is amazing. The food is equally amazing. The owner came by our table and told us about the restaurant, the food, the building, the wine, everything. The service was wonderful. I cannot say enough good about this restaurant! An... More

This place should have at least one Michelin star; it is simply divine. From the unassuming frontage, which is easily missed during the day, to the impeccable service and exquisite food, this is not a place to be missed in Porto. The Chefs are all visible in the open kitchen and the waiting staff are charming and extremely knowledgeable about... More

Service was excellent and nice ambience, but takes way too long to get your meal. Overall we liked it.

This was a small and cozy restaurant with great service where the food was good but not spectacular. Two couples in late thirties with extensive travel and fine dining experience, we didn't think this place deserved such a high TA rating. Price point is significantly higher than most restaurants in the area (food in Porto is generally inexpensive), our bill... More

First off let me say that the service and atmosphere was as good as it could get. Wonderful. The food however, we were disappointed in. We did the 3 course tasting and wine pairing. There was never anything we ate that we said " Wow! This is so good!" Nothing. Hate to not have more positive things to say since... More

Great service, wonderful atmosphere but really not worth the price. The staff is professional, friendly and knowledgeable but all those positives don't make up for the food being so-so.

If you value excellent friendly service, attention to detail and a wonderful tasty selection of foods then this is the place for you. Its charming, very close to the water front and the whole experience is simply fantastic. Each course is fully explained and the imagination of the chef to produce unique flavours is something not to be missed. I... More

We were really looking forward to visiting Ode. We wandered out in the rain to make sure we had enough cash to cover the bill, since they don't take credit cards. We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation. Mind you it is pouring rain outside. We were told and another couple as well that we would have to leave for... More

There's a few things I don't like to be honest. There's a few rules that they have....no phones, and cash only. The menu is brief, so you're forced to ask about every dish. But, once I ceased to be annoyed by the whole thing, I must say that the food was very good. You have to allow a long time....they... More

Description
Welcome to a quite, rustic 19th century house, just in front of river Douro, where Portuguese wine and food are the perfect excuse to forget the world and to enjoy the moment. An open kitchen where we love what we do to whom we do. A wide variety of Portuguese wines (15 by the glass) from which you can choose. Far from confusion, protected yet exposed, we look to pay an Ode to those who visit us - our guests. Relax. Fell at home.
