Not that nice from the outside, but great inside! Kind staff, english menu (very useful indeed!) and cheap dishes. We tried chicken, fish and desserts and everithing was good. Will definitely eat here again!

It would be interesting to know!we went there and, besides the fact that none of the waiter could speak english (after a week inPortugal I learned to accept that...)they were a bit cold and unfriendly.First we ordered bacalhau (cod), which was way too salty, a sign that they didn't take the right time to make it properly. My girlfriend ordered quejo and,... It's a good sign when the restaurant has 3 floors, and they opened restaurant #2 across the street. We had the grilled sardines - a Portugeuse favorite - us, not so much as there were too many little fine bones for our taste. Too much work. Otherwise, the Portugeuse BBQ chicken, the veal, grilled octopus, was excellent! The tripe was,... More

The name says it all: go here to experience barbecue chicken in diner-style restaurant. It is very popular with locals, so you may be required to wait for a seat - however there is additional seating upstairs spread over two floors. The chicken is available in two varieties (regular and picante - spicy) although picante is not excessively hot. Either... More

First we should say we had piri piri chicken in Porto, Lisbon and Albufeira at 6 different places. This was the best and most authentic. We arrived to a small line up and decided to wait and try to sit at the counter. We waited 20 minutes and watched not less than a person for each waiting minute getting takeout.... More

The best grilled chicken I have eaten, large portions served with crispy french fries, large mixed salad, a litre jug of ice cold vinho verde da casa - and all served by friendly helpful waiters. My friends and I ate there four times during our stay (we enjoyed our first meal there so much, and it was very reasonably priced,... More

This restaurant has been running for decades. It's cheap, the food is great. It's very Portuguese. Nandos has tried to export this type of food to the UK, but this is the real deal. From the outside we thought it was just a takeaway place because so many locals were waiting at the counter and coming out with bags of... More

Before came to this restaurant I do not really enjoy Portuguese food but this restaurant changed me!!! Came here because of the review from trip advisor. Judging from the outside of the restaurant is looks not convincing to go inside then we still try.. During lunch time the restaurant is really full, luckily we still can get a table for... More
