The staff only speaks portuguese and their native tongue, food is waited on for too long, the staff (the older lady) is quite rude and it seems as if she does not care for customer satisfaction. Food itself could also be better since every piece of sushi tasted blend. I'd rather eat a slice of pizza.

Atmosphere - 3/5 Gokobe is an average restaurant, do not expect anything too fancy. Parking – 4/5 Free Parking on premises. Service - 5/5 Friendly and funny staff. Food – 3.5/5 Value – 3.5/5 I am not a fan nor an expert on Asiatic cuisine, so I am definitely not the right person to review the food, however, I can... More

Although the decor is interesting, the sushi itself is very poor. The staff isn't very friendly and even worse its overpriced for the quality There are a lot of better places to go for sushi within that price range and some not that far away.

Went to the restaurant with my sister and father. Ordered udon noodles and got fried noodles instead. The staff were friendly Chinese, but the tempura was terrible. Seems to just call itself a Japanese restaurant, but really is just Chinese. At least the noodles tasted ok.

A good service, a pleasant room but bad sushi with overcooked rice and overseasoned maki's made it a bad experiente.

Dont recommend the place for real sushi lovers. The sushi was ok. Lots of rice. Not pricey though. The employees dont really seem to care with the customer.

After reading some promising trip advisor reviews my partner and I decided to give this place a go. Unfortunately, there is nothing Japanese about the restaurant. The sushi was bland and the soup was equally as banal. The rest of food was faux Chinese. The service bordered on dire as my partners food came almost 30 minutes after my own.... More

It has been the 3rd time that I visited this restaurant last week and I find it amazing what you get there for such a small amount of money. I visit very often Japanese restaurants and the quality of this restaurant in Porto has been stable and good. Where can you eat as much fresh sushi and sashimi for lunch,... More

And it isn't!! Service was really poor, only 4 tables seated and 10 minutes before I got a drink. Food is not true Japanese. It's cheap and the quality matches. Made thanks in Japanese and got some strange looks! If you want Japanese this isn't the place to go. Sorry. Decor and music are terrible. If I could have mustered... More
