São Gião is a Quality Restaurant in an undercover location. The decoration is sober, nice and comfortable. The menu is fabulous and the Chef is permanently updating it with new dishes. It has a nice wine cellar that you can visit by request, and choose the proper wine for your meal. The view is nice, over a vinho verde vineyard.... More

Food is really good, service was super nice and helpful with suggestions and special attentions, the place is outside of Guimaraes and it's surprising to arrive in the neighborhood and find a nice restaurant like that! Not easy to find if you're not with local people that know it and bring you there!

The restaurant's decor is 6 STAR status, as well: elegant and with excellent aesthetic taste. The Menu is fabulous and the Chef, Pedro Nunes, is permanently inserting... More

food is mainly traditional, but with some modern influences, that makes it delicious and well integrated in this historic part of portugal.some dishes are really good, like the small owen chicken.

Today, I´m not a a fan of gourmet restaurants. But this is really different. The best of classical cuisine in a modern atmosphere by Chef Pedro Nunes. The best, for me!

It's not our first time in this restaurante and for all means definitely not the last! The decoration is sober, nice and comfortable - nice silverware, glasses and chairs. We start with some appetisers: ovos rotos, foie grass, game alheira, tuna and anchovies salad, and a out ob the box smoke cod - all great. Mains: A wonderful and well... More
