Dropped in for impromptu lunch and, since alone, sat at the counter/chef’s table. Warm welcome, excellent service and the most delicious food...accompanied by good conversation from the kitchen side! Highly recommended.

Nice small restaurant in the middle of funchal, Madeira with profesional, friendly and knowledgeable staff. We had good meat dishes. Not the best food I’ve ever had but very enjoyable! 😊

nice atmosphere, wine excellent, bread a home-made treat, fish main course superb, beef belly also very good, puddings a work of art. star quality at forty euros a head. get here soon before they double the prices!

Just checked menu on ‘The Fork’ Same as when we were there in May. Might change but looks identical. Everything prepared in front of you. For this type of restaurant I didn’t think the menu was limited. Thought it was great... More
