After a break of a couple of years we returned to our favourite restaurant this year and the place was just as good. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. recommended to all. The saddle of lamb and crepes suzette are particularly good.

We visited here based on the very positive TripAdvisor reviews and were not let down. The food was excellent with a well varied menu. The wine menu was equally as good and a lovely green wine was quickly chosen to accompany our main meals. In...More

Returned to this superb quality restaurant, fish or meat, high standard cuisine with wide choice of Portuguese and international dishes, in a relaxed atmosphere and attentive service :-). Very pleasant evening, will be going back!!

Each time when we are in Funchal we eat here. The food is correct and served with a smile. Pricing is like the food : correct. Ambiance is ok although tables are very close to each other ! So you can hear neighbours conversations which...More

Well worth a visit, quality food and drink in lovely surroundings. Nice attentive staff, Serves Portuguese food, we're not fish eaters, but judging by the meat dishes I'm sure they would be of equal quality.

This place is incredible. Service and food like a Michelin but prices not. Fresh seafood and green wine was exceptional. I would recommended to anyone but especially those staying near.

This restaurant has a Michelin star and obviously serves excellent food but is not overly expensive. The staff were very attentive and served the best garlic bread we had tasted. Well worth a visit.

Regret to advise this restaurant is most unsuitable in view of the stairs. There is an Italian restaurant on the opposite side of the road which would be fine. If you are in town then go to Amadeus it's a great place to... More
