We ate here partly because of the convenience and the great menu, and because we get discount with our Prestige cards

After three nights of scabbard (surely a Madeiran staple), my wife and I were a bit ‘fished-out’. Italian seemed like a good option. Normally, I would avoid non-indigenous food. After all, why spend the best part of four hours on a plane to a Portuguese island off the coast of Africa and then eat at a restaurant that’s possibly no... More

We ate here on our first night as we just wanted a quick bite after a late arrival, and this is part of the Porto Bay complex. Food was excellent, pizzas especially good. Great selection of wines. This was our closest restaurant, but was so good we did not hesitate to go back twice more.

We went to the restaurant with the intention of having a Pizza but arrived to find that something necessary to make it was broken and no Pizza could be had for a couple of hours until whatever was broken was fixed. This I had very generous portion of Calamari whilst my wife enjoyed soup. For main course I had beef... More

We had dinner with 6 persons. We found the place via TripAdvisor and didn't make a reservation. Almost all the tables where taken but the staff fixed us a table anyway. Had some great food, atmosphere was amazing. Staff makes you feel welcome and makes you laugh.

Very good Italian restaurant with a large menu choice. A bit too touristic oriented. Sadly enough only 1 (!) Italian wine of which the waiter even did not know the region...

Although one of the restaurants belonging to the Port Mare hotel complex, this restaurant is accessed from the Lido Boulevard. We had booked a table for dinner outside in a very sheltered position and were very comfortable despite a drop in temperature. The service was excellent throughout, as was the meal. We both had delicious risottos, mine seafood, my wife's... More
