Wonderful gem in sintra. Just down the road from the sintra train station - a 5 minute walk. Good toasties and salads. For a tourist town they didn't have high pricing.

Short walk from Sintra Railway Station, so we decided to take a coffee before climbing up the to "centre" of Sintra. Friendly young man behind counter, 2 coffees for 1.20€(=cheapest ever!) and working WiFi, so all good...before we got to our table and there literally were dozens of small flies/insects buzzing around. Toilet wasn't exactly the most cleanest I've been... More

The prices were low, but so was the standard. The portions were big and the sandwiches looked great - though they took 20 mins to arrive after ordering, on a quiet day with us being the only consumers. Half way through we noticed 2 hairs on one of the sandwiches - we left disappointed 😞

We stopped here to eat lunch. While my husband placed our order with the rude woman at the front desk, I visited the appalling bathrooms. The server threw down a brown cabbage soup, which I could not eat, because within minutes of eating, it began to irritate my throat. The place - renamed outside as Topico, was filthy and dusty... stop here if you like sharing with flies, do not eat here. Food area and bar was full of flies, toilets are dirty. Felt like I needed to wipe my feet when leaving to keep the street clean.....

Stopped off here for a light bite and drinks. Couldn't stay as they were infested with flies. Was disgusted!

Came here for lunch on a day trip to Sintra. Woman serving us was rude, but seemingly had way too much to do by herself. When the food came it was cold, and then another one of us had to wait about 30 minutes longer for the food to arrive. Would not recommend under any circumstances!

The street (Rua Doutor ALfreda da Costa) is worth a visit if you're in Sintra. Lots of interesting shops and pretty houses. If you arrive by train you're already nearly there. Legenday Cafe is popular, not least because it has space outside to sit on the pavement and watch the World go by. Inside is quirky. When I was there... More

Went there for a lunch. Good for the price, but dirty wine glasses and hair in wine. Would not recommend.

We only dropped in for a coffee and two custard tarts, a Portuguese speciality, cold custard in a tart. Coffee was good a cappachino and an Americano. Custard tarts were very good. The tables are of the metallic variety with similar chairs, more suitable to a fast food restaurant, however many local people came in to eat . The tables... More
