When people come to have dinner at this restaurant, they will get some bread and mushrooms and cheese and paté before the meal is served. Without asking for it, so they think that it is a kind gesture. Don't eat any of this, it will cost 10.00 euro! I think it is a shame that the owner has the need... More

We came here after a trip to the castle. Late lunch. We started with onion soup and gambas in piri piri.both was tasting lovely, the gambas was hot,but just with strong flavour. The main course we had javalin in different variations. All was nicely presented and tasted very good. With a good local wine it was well worth the trip to... More

We enjoyed this restaurant and as it was a wet cold night we ate inside. Outside dining is obviously available in the right weather conditions. The service was hood and the food very tasty with a good menu selection. The curried prawns, steak and mushrooms and grilled salmon all delicious.

Located in a nice trees shaded garden. Good efficient service that offers deer/bore meat along with other "regular" meats veal/pork and sea fruits. Deer tender stripes as well as veal kabab were done to perfection. dessert like pumpkin pie proved to be delicacies as well. But...they push you with covert plus entrees rate above 12 Euros without prior warning or... More

Stopped here for lunch on a rainy day, and found a cozy retreat from the weather with a warm and delicious meal. Some of our group had stew, others had fish that was cooked to perfection. Appetizers and wines were very good. Very good value for the money....about 11 Euros each for the set meal, plus wine and coffee. Would... More

We found this restaurant online and the reviews were good so we were excited to try this place. As we walked in I was frightened by the stuffed boar standing in the doorway. In retrospect it was the least frightning thing about the place. Imagine a David Lynch movie but with bad music! The decor is so out of date... More

If you like meat, you must try this very beautiful restaurant in Sintra. The skewered of boar and deer are excellente, good service at a terrace covered with trees, nice wine and friendly employees.

Surprising, consistent and quantitatively abundant food, focusing on meat namely game meat, with a fair list of wines. The food probably seems better than it actually is thanks to the environment. In the fancy village of Sao Pedro de Sintra, this restaurant has a fireplace to make meals cozier during winter and a lovely refreshing esplanade under the shape of... More
